Chapter 2: Danger

Charles P.O.V.:

I must be on guard. Something can happen to the young miss.

I look around, and I don't see anything that could harm the young miss. But, I must still be cautious.

"Charles, here's your apple juice!" cheered the young miss.

"Oh, thank you , young miss." I give my thanks to her.

The young miss turns to William. "Here's your apple juice, William!"

"Thank you, young miss!" cheered William.

We walk away from the stand.

In the corner of my eye, I see a figure rushing over here. Is this the danger the young miss is in?

"Young miss, be careful. Criminals might want to kidnap you." I warn the young miss.

"I don't think that's going to happen. I have you two here to protect me and I don't see any suspicious people here." the young miss argued back.

"But still, you have to be careful." I told the young miss.

"I understand, Charles. But still, I don't think that's---mhmhmhm" the young miss said, but she got tackled.

"YOUNG MISS!!!" both Charles and I yell.

William and I run over to the criminal who tackled the young miss. "Get away from the young miss!" I shout at the criminal.

"No!" he shouts back

Just as I was about to make it to the young miss with William, we both get stopped.

"You have to deal with me first if you want to rescue the princess." said a large, buff criminal.

"Grr! William! Go help the young miss, while I deal with this thug!" I commanded.

"Got it, Sir!" he replied. The giant grabbed him.

"You're not going anywhere." the giant said.

"Guess we have to fight him, huh?" William says.

"It seems like it. He won't let either of us go." I said to William.

Both William and I drew out our swords and run at the giant.

The giant dodged and punched William in the head.

For as how weak William may seem, he's actually really durable.

"Huh? How are you still standing?!" yelled the shocked giant.

"You can't knock me down that easily!" shouts William.

I run up to the giant for a surprise attack while he's still dumbfounded from how durable William is.

I managed to slice a bit of his cheek. But, he ended up turning towards me and pushing me to the ground.

"Oof!" I said once I hit the ground.

"You're getting it big time for cutting my face." the giant says in a scary voice.

The giant punches me in the face, so hard, it knocks me out.

William P.O.V.:

Oh, boy! This is so crazy! I just got punched by that giant criminal and now so did my partner! I think he couldn't take in that punch that well, as a result, he got knocked out. I need to help him and the young miss!

The giant is still punching Charles, even though he's already knocked out!

"Stop punching him!" I yell out.
