3rd P.O.V.:

Travis is sitting in an alley of Hollow Street. It's a market Street, but since it's pretty close to Hollow Castle, it's been named Hollow Street.

Travis P.O.V.:

I'm not hungry. I'm not hungry. I'm not hungry.

I smell fresh bread. My belly growls.

"Gosh, dang it! I'm hungry." I say to myself.

I get up and peek out of the alley and see what's available in the market. I see the fresh bread that I just smelled, some stands with fruit and others with vegetables, some stands are selling drinks as well. Well, there are other stands that don't sell food or beverages, but this is my main focus. Those stands have no purpose for me. Maybe the ones that have clothing, but I can always dumpster dive at some clothing stores' dumpster.

But what should I steal today? Maybe some bread, a banana, and apple juice? Yeah, that sounds good!

I grab my usual bag I use to shove food or supplies into when I steal. I just need to use this to steal.

Wait! I forgot my hoodie. I use that to sort of disguise myself. The hood helps me hide my face in a way. Let's me blend in with the crowd.

Ok. Now, I'm ready.

I casually get out of the alley with my hoodie on. I walk down the street, whistling a casual tune. Hehe. No-one will suspect a thing!

I walk towards the bread stand, and the seller is busy with a customer. So, I walk pass them, and grab a bread roll. I quickly put the roll in my bag. I glance back at them, they didn't even see a thing! Victory! Time to get a banana.

Hmm... No-one is at the stand. Seems a bit suspicious, but, oh well! Maybe the seller had some errands to run? I get in front of the stand. There a sign. "On a break. Be back in about 5 minutes." I read. "So that's why no-one's here!" I say to myself. I would steal an extra banana, but I don't want to attract more attention to myself. I'll just steal one. I look around to see if anyone's looking. Good, no-one's looking. I quickly grab a banana and put it in the bag. I walk away like a boss.

Time for some apple juice, but how do I get one? They only serve drinks in cups, not in bottles. This will be difficult. I guess I just have to go to a fresh lake and drink water there.

I hear trumpets. And not just any trumpets, but the royal trumpets.

"Toot toot toooot!" sounded the royal trumpets. "The young miss, Princess Opal, will come pay a visit to Hollow Street, and possibly find something she likes." announced a guard.

I quickly hide in a near alley. I can't be seen by them. They will definitely tell the King, King Jasper, about this; and he's harsh to criminals, he hates him, more like despises them. But, is Princess Opal actually here? I peek out of the alley and see Princess Opal. I could stay right here forever and watch her.

"Sigh. She's so beautiful." I say to myself.

"You can say that. This is the perfect chance to kidnap her for ransom." said a mysterious voice behind me.

I turn around and see a big buff guy with tattoos. "Oh, boy." I yelp in fear.

"How 'bout you help us? We could use the help." he threatened with a fist.

Even though I want to get close with Princess Opal, I don't want to deal with these guys.

"How about "no"?" I say. I quickly run away.

"We don't need him. Let's go, Kyle." the buff guy said to someone next to him.

Princess Opal P.O.V.:

Mother said I have to get some more jewelry for the ball next week. I wonder what I can find here at the market.

"Guard, uh, your name is Charles, right?" I ask the guard.

"Yes. I am glad you remember my name." answered Charles.

"Ok. You and, um, I think your name is William, right?" I ask the other guard.

"Yes, I am. Thank you for remembering my name as well." answered William.

"Ok." I say. "Father should tell me which guards are going accompany me so things won't be too awkward." I mumble to myself. "Back to the subject at hand, you two shall guide me to the best jewelry stand this market has to offer. Alright?" I told them.

"Yes, young miss." the two guards answer in unison.

"Ok, let's be on our way." I say.

"Got it, young miss." the two respond in unison.

Charles is in the front, while William is behind me.

Charles led me to one of the jewelry stands.

"Welcome, Princess Opal! I hope you find something you want at my stand." replied the female seller.

"Yes, I do hope I will." I respond.

I look around and see nothing that's my taste in fashion. But, I do find one thing I like. A necklace. It looks so cute! It has an adorable cat head on it! A calico cat! I do hope Mother will agree to it. If not, I'll need a backup. I look around for another necklace. I see a necklace with a lapis lazuli. It's nice; that'll be my backup.

I grab both of the necklaces I want.

"I'll take these two necklaces, please." I say.

"Sure! Let me see how much they'll be together." the female seller says. "It'll be, 300 gold coins." the female seller says.

"Charles, give her the money." I told him.

"Yes, young miss." he replies. He turns over to the female seller. He pulls out gold coins from his pouch. "Here's the 300 gold coins, madam."

"Thank you, sir." she replies.

We walk away from the stand.

"Anything else you would like, young miss." asks William.

"Hmm... How about I get you two some apple juice? My treat." I suggest.

"Why would you do that?" they ask in unison.

"I just feel in a good mood today and like to do something nice." I answer.

They look at each other.

"C'mon!" I say. I drag then to the apple juice stand. There is a long line. This stand must be popular.

"This isn't good." Charles whispers to William.

"What do you mean?" William whispers to Charles.

"Whenever, young miss is in a good mood and wants to do something nice for others, bad luck comes her way." Charles whispers to William.

"Really?" William whispers to Charles.

"Yes, I know you're a new guard, so I'm warning you about this. Be on guard for something bad." Charles whispers to William.

"Got it! Heh, be on "guard." You just made a pun." William points out.

"Sigh. Be serious, William." Charles tells William.

"Yes, sir!" William replies.

"What are you two talking about?" I ask them.

"Nothing, young miss. Just telling William here not to good around much." Charles answers.

"Ok. The line is shorting, so we should be getting our apple juice soon" I said.

"Got it, young miss!" the two reply.

Harold (the buff guy from the alley) P.O.V.:

I see the Princess at the apple juice stand.

"Hey, Kyle, the Princess is at the apple juice stand. Once she's distracted, you go knock her out while I deal with the guards, got it?" I tell Kyle, my partner.

"You got it, Harold." he answers.
