Chapter 3: King Jasper

Elizabeth's P.O.V:

Grr.... I can't believe I let them get away!!!! Now what am I suppose to do? Pick up Charles, bring him back to the castle, and tell King Jasper that his precious daughter and his rookie knight got kidnapped??!?!?! Sigh... Guess I have to do that.... I just have to hope King Jasper won't throw a tantrum.

"Nancy. Pick up Charles." I command her, with anger still seeping through my mouth.

"Oh! Uh! Right away, Elizabeth!" said a timid Nancy.

Nancy picks up an injured Charles and places him on her back.

"Alright, let's go! As the boss of this group, I have to take responsibility and tell 'His Majesty,' King Jasper, about how I failed this mission. Nancy will stay with Charles in the infirmary and watch over him." I announce.

They all nod. Some even felt relieved to know that they don't have to deal with the King.

"Ok! So, once Charles wakes up, I ask him about what happened?" ask the idiot Nancy.

Seriously. Does she not have common sense?

"Yes. Of course! Just let him have a good breather and regain his strength to be able to talk first." I told her.

"Got it, boss!" she responded.

We marched all the way back to Hollow Castle. Nancy took Charles to the infirmary and didn't leave. Good. She remembered to stay there. The rest of my group continue to do regular guard duties. Now that just leaves me to deal with the cry baby, King Jasper. I know it's bad to talk about our King like that, but hey, I'm not talking about it, I'm thinking about it.

That thought makes me put a smile on my face, well, a smirk.

I walk all way to King Jasper's room, where two guards stood in front of.

"Good afternoon, Mighty Elizabeth! What brings you here?" asked Tyler, the guard who's standing on the left.

"I came here to give a report to 'His Majesty,' King Jasper." I calmly told them.

"Must be serious if you included 'His Majesty,' in his name. Since you usually just say, 'King Jasper.'" concluded Cameron, aka "Ronny," which I like to call him. He's standing on the right.

"It is, Ronny." I said. I look at him. "Pray I live through this." After I said that, I look back at the door and entered the room.

And there, I see "His Majesty," King Jasper, sitting on his throne, pondering about something. Probably thinking if he sent enough guards to be with Princess Opal.

I cautiously walk closer to King Jasper. He spots me.

"Is there something you need? Or are you here to report on how my sweetie is doing in the market with Sir. Charles and Rookie William?" King Jasper asks me.

"Well, I did as I was told. I went to the market with my group." I start off.

King Jasper is not that enthusiastic about the start of my story.

"When I got there, I saw the infamous Travis with a knocked out Charles and a beat up William. Princess Opal was nowhere to be seen." I told King Jasper.

"WHAT?!!!!!" he yells.

I knew he was going to be furious. Honestly, any parent would be if they found out their child has been kidnapped.

"HOW COULD MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER GET KIDNAPPED?!?!!!! WAS IT THAT TRAVIS??!!!!?!!?!" he yells.

"We believe so. He was the only person there, and a well-known criminal. So, it's likely he has something to do with the kidnapping of Princess Opal." I answer him.

King Jasper starts to pace across the room.

"GRRR.....TRAVIS. ONCE I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, YOU WILL PAY. I WILL TORTURE YOU UNTIL THE DAY YOU GET HANGED, OR EXECUTED. ONE OF THE TWO. I WILL SEND ALL OF MY ARMY AFTER YOU TO RESCUE MY SWEETIE AND BEAT YOU UP!!!" he rants.

King Jasper stomps to me and places his hands on my shoulders. I flinched.

"Where is Rookie William? Is he in good condition to tell me his side of the story?" he asks me with anger seeping through.

"Travis took William with him." I answer him, very scared.

He takes his hands off my shoulders and turns around.

"CURSE YOU TRAVIIIIIIISSS!!!!!!!!!" he yells.

Travis's P.O.V.:

"AAACHOO!!!!!" I sneeze. "Someone must be talking about me." I mumble.

"You okay?" William asks me.

"Yeah! It was just a sneeze. I heard about if you sneeze, someone must be talking about you. I just hope it wasn't the King." I casually say.

Elizabeth's P.O.V.:

King Jasper just yelled about cursing Travis. He's still facing away from me.

"Go get your group and search for Travis. Make sure you bring him back alive with my sweetie, Opal." he calmly commands me.

"Yes, your Majesty, King Jasper. I'll get my group, except Nancy. I told her to stay and watch over Charles." I salute him.

King Jasper nods.

I exit the room and close the doors behind me.

"How'd it go, LizLiz?" Ronny asks. Ronny likes to call me "LizLiz."

"Surprisingly, he didn't slap me across my face or talk down to me. Heck! He didn't even cry!" I summarize.

We hear faint sobbing coming from the room.

"Never mind. He just started to cry." I say.

"Yep. At least he took this one better." Tyler agrees.

"Agree." Ronny agrees.

"Well, I have to get my group together and find Travis and Princess Opal." I told them.

"Good luck, Elizabeth!" cheers Tyler.

"Go after him, LizLiz! I know you can do it!" cheers Ronny.

"I know I can!" I yell as I run down the hall.

After I get my group together, I went over to the infirmary to keep Nancy up to date.

I knock on the door.

"Come in!" Nancy responds.

I opened the door.

"Hey, Nancy! How's Charles?" I ask her.

"He's doing ok. He should wake up in an hour or more. He just had a big hit in the head, with a couple of punches. I don't know how Travis could do a big punch like that. He must had have a partner or something." Nancy answers.

"Hmm. I see. Well, the rest of the group and I are off to find Travis and Princess Opal. You're still staying here with Charles." I told her.

"Yes, boss!" she salutes.

"See 'ya!" I waved goodbye and closed the door.

I left the castle with my group and start to go to the scene where we last saw Travis.

Sup, geeks! I made the chapter! As you can tell so far, my writing can be inconsistent. I'm trying to write in present tense, but still write in past tense a couple of times. Sorry about that.
