In a world that is 80% heroes there are those that do not know what to do with their quirk. In this world they are considered more than just bad guys, they are considered Villains. Across the globe there are bands of them that lay outside of a hero's reach, growing stronger and more hateful with each day that passes by. Yet even with the evil that lays in the dark, the light of pro heroes shines brighter and give peace and hope to the people in the city.
However, there are many factions of villains that are determined to wipe out the existence of hope and light while other factions are lost without much reason as to why they commit crimes. One such group breeds children in order to grow in strength, specifically choosing people to make the best offspring with the most dangerous quirks.
Each child was taken by this malicious group and trained to be a villain, many did not survive in the fights with pro heroes, and many more broke under the weight of what they were asked to do. By notion of trial and error their leader believed that she had made a child that could fight and never truly break, however... the father of that child believed in a different state and fought to protect the baby from the terror of her mother. This is where this story begins, Saito Aimi, daughter of a villain and a cook...
"I am taking my child with me!" Yuki exclaimed reaching for her screaming child.
Ren blocked her path," No! I won't allow you to make her into some monster!"
"She is my child and I will do with her as I wish." Yuki snapped, frost forming beneath her feet, "And you can't do anything to stop me from doing that."
Ren swallowed hard but stood his ground none-the-less, knowing the dangers of what he was doing, "She is my daughter as well Yuki, and if she wants to become someone like you then she can. But I refuse to let you force her into that life."
Yuki clenched her jaw, the room becoming cold from her rage and hatred, ice now stemming from where she stood and forming on the windows, frost forming on areas of the crib that the baby lay in, "That is my child Ren."
"She is mine as well and she should have the choice of becoming what she wants." Ren scolded, his heart racing but still he didn't lose his ground. He knew his fate if he showed an inch of fear to this woman.
Ice formed from the frost beneath Yuki as her anger grew, "You can't keep her away from me forever Ren."
"If she wants to seek you out I won't stop her." He snapped as sirens bounded through the room, "Will you have enough time now?"
"When did you-"
"You should leave before All Might arrives Yuki." Ren snapped.
Yuki clenched her fist and rushed to the door, "Believe me Ren, I will destroy you and that child no matter the cost."
Quickly Yuki disappeared into the night. Ren collapsed against the side of the crib and breathed out a heavy sigh of relief, fear still prickling at the back of his neck at Yuki's words. Swallowing that fear he stood and picked up the crying child.
Within a few moments the small apartment was crowded with police and a couple Pro Hero's. Yuki was long gone and Ren told then that as he comforted his screaming daughter. Since that day, Ren has been careful with how he spoke about Yuki to his daughter until the day her quirk decided to manifest itself.
|Six Years Later |
"Papa, I'm going to the Park!"
Ren smiled, "Be careful and be back by dinner!"
"Yes Papa!" Aimi laughed as she tugged her shoes on and rushed out the door.
With a smile plastered on his face he continued to cook dinner for the two of them, his eyes following his daughter until he couldn't see her anymore. Yet inside he could feel it, a pitting uneasy feeling. He knew it was about time for her quirk to manifest itself and then the questions would come about what she was and what her quirk was. The only real question being: how would that quirk manifest itself?
