I slowly feel emotions begin to resurface. Memories, from so long ago. I could feel the tears well up in my eyes, whenever I cried my eyes shone like swirling pools of the most beautiful and deep liquid. I slowly trembled up to the temple door, it was as if the heavens shone down upon the monument. I stepped inside.

Its beauty overwhelmed and shook me to my core. Serenity flooded over me, and for once in the longest time, I felt relaxed. And again, the whispers begun, but I wasn't scared- how could I be? I danced further into the golden temple, taking time to admire all the small artifacts and statues. I couldn't help but feel drawn to one artifact in particular, it was of heavenly beauty. I was absorbed into it, the delicate carvings of furbies in pure gold danced around in my head, chanting my name.

The artifact began to glow shimmering gold, and my name grew louder around me, filling my head with my own name, making me feel......wanted. The artifact shook out of my hands, and began to float up into the air, glowing brighter than ever before, blinding me. Suddenly, it stopped; my name, the glowing, the shaking, everything, it dropped to the floor. And slowly, the artifact split open. And, there, in the golden temple I, Alliyah Kirai Heavan'ly witnessed a beautiful, bejewelled furby crawl out and into the world. It stood up, and I fell to my knees before it.

It was at least 18 feet tall, and had lushious white and gold flecked fur, with diamonds on hanging from it everywhere. The most intriguing part about it, I think (though the whole thing is incredibly beautiful and wonderful) is it's purple eyes, spotted with gold flecks. My eyes.

It was a cold shock, looking at a furby, so beautiful and majestic, lovely and kind, and having my own eyes stare back at me. Me, who is horribly average, skinny, hated, stupid, clumsy, and a burden, share eyes with one of the most amazing and helpful beings to ever live. I couldn't breathe.

The furby, though he never once opened his mouth, spoke to me.

"My child," It boomed, "You have been brought forth to me, because you are special. You

are the chosen one."

"But," I quietly whimpered, nervous to speak, "I'm just an average girl! If anything I'm far

below average, far too low to be blessed by your presence."

"Ignorant child," It spoke, "I make no mistakes, and I chose you. You are powerful beyond your own belief, and that power has been in you since your mother, my love, birthed you."

"M-my mother?"

"Yes, she was the only one I've ever loved, and one of the most powerful women I have

ever met, she sacrificed her power for you, you know, and she couldn't stay with me, I was unable to protect her. She did it for you."

"Wait, so the father I've always known, whom I have put up with, and lived with, isn't my father? I-It's you?" I ask with hope gleaming in my eyes, my heart beating.

"Yes, my child. And I am sorry I couldn't be there for you. You have lived in that horrible orphanage, and I've been trying to call you, but since I lost your mother I've been too weak. She was my strength, my heart, and my soul. She was my one true love" It looked longingly up to the high ceilings, which I then noticed were vividly painted with scenes of both him and what looked like my mother, they looked so in love. Like soulmates.

"So..," I speak up," who- who exactly...am I?"

It turned back to me, "You, Alliyah, are the princess of this mortal realm. As my daughter, you have ultimate power. You will have anything you desire."

"Oh my god," I gasped, "Do-does that mean you can bring back mom?"

Sadness glazed over its eyes, "Child, if I could I would."
