Hello, my little Penguins! Welcome to your first cooking class! Today, we will be making my super easy and fluffy pancakes! They will undoubtedly win over picky eaters or simply become a breakfast staple in your kitchen!

Now, let's get some time frames in effect!

The mixing and preparing time is ~4 minutes, while cooking time is ~3-4 minutes per-pancake!

Ingredients

- 1 cup organic buttermilk flour. (Normal flour works just as well!)

- 2/3 cup organic milk

- 1tbsp (tablespoon) butter. (Oil works just as well)

- 1 organic egg

Preparation

Combine all flour, egg, butter, and milk. (If you don't have enough milk, don't fret! Cream also works, and I have used egg nod, which worked wonders!)

Mix until all lumps and bumps are gone, but be careful not to over-mix! It's super easy to do and will ruin your batch of pancakes!

If the mix is too thick, you can always add more liquid! It's too runny? Add more flour! There are no mistakes in Momma Pengus' kitchen!

Heat a lightly oiled pan or skillet on a medium flame. Once the pan is heated, pour the pancake batter into the heated pan.

*Momma Pengu's Hot Tip!*

To test if the pan is hot enough, put a small amount of pancake batter into the pan. If it starts to cook, you're good to go!

Please do *not* splash water into an oiled pan! The water and boiling oil will only splash back at you, and my darling Penguins will only get hurt! Be safe!*

Once the batter is in the pan, let the bottom cook. When bubbles form at the top, leave it until the bubbles burst. Then, flip and cook the other side. This takes about 2-3 minutes.

Take the fluffy pancakes off the griddle and serve with butter and syrup!

And you're done!

I hope you had a good time in class today! And I hope to see you next week, when we learn how to make homemade berry-good syrup!

Leave comments on what other recipes you want to learn!

Until next week, my little Penguins!
