Momma Pengu's Greenie-Genie Smoothie!

Welcome back, my little Penguins!

This week we learn Momma Pengu's Greenie-Genie smoothie!

It take around a minute to prepare, and about three minutes to blend together, depending on how thick you like your smoothies!

Let's start with the Greenie-Genie!

Ingredients 

- 1 frozen banana 

- 3 cup frozen berries (Best ones to use are; mango, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, cherries, oranges, or grapefruit)

- 2 cup frozen greens (best ones to use are; spinach, kale, swiss chard, romaine lettuce, beet greens, carrot tops, collard greens, celery. Although, spinach, kale, and swiss chard are the most common.)

- 2 cups liquid. A lot of different liquid bases can be used for green smoothies, here are a few options; almond milk, coconut milk, dairy milk, rice milk, oat milk, cashew milk, or coconut water. Regular water can also be used, but I don't recommend using it for this smoothie.

Feel like adding in something? Add in chia seeds for a nice texture! Flax seeds help with digestion! Or, maybe coconut oil for healthier hair and skin!*

Preparation

Tightly pack all frozen greens into 2 cups worth and put into the blender, add 2 ups of the liquid of your choice

*Momma Pengu's Hot Tip!*

To get rid of all those gritty and chewy pieces of greens, blend the greens and liquid first until smooth. Then add in the berries of choice~!

Blend until smooth! This recipe makes two full glasses of Momma Pengu's Greenie-Genie smoothie!
