Cameron still felt like shit.

And it didn't help that she was standing at a random guys door, pregnant and hungry, and 2 minutes from hurling again.

The guy was handsome, she'll give him that. He was muscular, with dark hair and hazel eyes flecked with green, and he had to be one of the most gorgeous men she had ever seen.

But at the moment, her mind was a little elsewhere.

Guilt gnawed at her stomach, along with hunger and stomach pains.

She hadn't just picked up and left, she was above that. That's something her mother would've, had done actually, done if she had've stuck around.

So Cameron left a note.

She had breathed heavily as she wrote it in her quick, messy handwriting. It was barely legible, but she made sure she emphasized the words, 'I'm sorry I have to do this, I love you.'

The guy in front of her gave her an odd look, leaning against the door frame and crossing his arms over his broad, black-t-shirt clothed muscular chest.

" Why should I?" He asked, his deep voice almost making Cameron drool.

" What?" She replied, confused.

He rolled his eyes, like she was wasting his time.

She couldn't blame him.

" Why should I let you in?"

Cameron didn't know. Of all places, why did she come here? This guy was a stranger, who opened the door to a stranger, and was now looking for a reason.

She couldn't find one.

" I have no where else to go." She whimpered. She had always been a good actress, the top in her drama class, and stared in all the acting gigs around town she could find.

So when the guy shut the door in her face she was extremely surprised.

A knot formed in her stomach and it clenched tightly, so tight she doubled over and hiccuped, tears beading her eyes just before they spilled over.

The silence hung heavy and that only made it -everything- worse. She sunk onto her knees after leaning her body against the wall where the door, shut and menacing, was built.

The doctor had delivered the news like it was such a fabulous thing. A child, growing inside her, destroying her future all at once.

And to someone else, it probably would have been amazing.

But to her, it was one of the most horrible things that could possibly happen.

I'm just like her. Cameron thought, resting her forehead on her knees and wrapping her arms around them, her stomach twisting at the thought of her being like the woman that birthed her, and that left her father hurt and broken in the process.

The doctor had asked who the father was after breaking the news. When she said she didn't know, the look she received was neither disapproving or pity.

It was both.

Cameron hiccuped, another rack of sobs surging through her body and she heard footsteps.

" Go away." Cameron wheezed, not looking up. " Can't you see I'm busy wallowing in sorrow?"

" Yes, but I thought you'd want to come in, so I cleaned up the place. C'mon, stranger." The deep voice rang out, and if Cameron wasn't so surprised she actually would get up.
