 2016.

Ashley pointed to the window. Josea followed her finger and laughed.

Ashley took out her phone for a quick second. She shook her head and the other girl joined her, which was always the case. A perfectly placed table beside a glass wall, with a clear view of the street, the traffic, and the people walking here and there. A standard Cappuccino with half steamed milk and half milk foam, that had been neatly decorated to look like a heart with sprinkles of sweet powder on the top. A Chocolate Hazelnut Milk-tea in a plastic cup/glass, that's way too sweet for a regular human taste covered with a plastic paper on the top and in the middle was a straw attached to it. A grande latte with a wrong name written on the sticker attached to its side. 3 packets of Banana Bread Loaf slices warmed up. 2 packets of Chocolate chunk cookies, warmed up as well. A book from the New York Times bestselling series The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and A new Pop Fiction crazy titled Snow White is a Gangster by Shiela May Familaran.

"Say Bunso(youngest)," said Ashley, holding the phone in her right hand. She was sitting on a chair and the other girl was leaning beside her with her hand on Ashley's shoulder.

"Aish!" said the other girl, with her hair untied that landed on her shoulders. A lake of white with a brown color eye, well a pair of those. A watch on her left hand and a bracelet on her right. A white t-shirt, covering it was a white jacket that made her look like an actress. White shorts and a pair of white shoes with white socks. She resembled a modern Snow White.

"Maan, do you want to join the perfect picture?" said Ashley, with a big smile on her face.

"Na, I'm good." Both Cappuccino and Latte were hot, the other way around for the Mikl-tea, which was creepy cold. Few drops of water could already be seen on the outer side of the cup. "Do you ever get tired, Schuzzette?" Maan said.

"Never." It was a beautiful day and the sky was a mixture of white and blue, everything looked so clear. The dog walking on the street with its owner, the owner with a plastic bag in his other hand. The taxi standing near the signal, waiting for the passenger to pay the bill. The couple holding hands and kissing beside a pole. Everything was clear. "Never," said Ashley again. "How many times I have told you, beshi(best friend) not my last name."

"He's a boring guy, atte(big sis)," said the other girl, and booed him.

Maan smiled. "Rain." He took a sip of Latte and grabbed City of Bones book. "You got to stop making those weird faces. You look cute, but still," he said.

"I'm cute I know, you don't have to tell me that," Josea said, and booed him again.

"Oh, come on, beshi! One pic," said Ashley, still holding the phone and stretching her hand. The girl doesn't get tired at all with things like this.

"3 thousand plus images in your gallery, doesn't that suggest anything to you?" said Maan. He took a bite of the banana bread loaf slice, it was warm and tasted delicious.

"Who ever drinks latte and eats a slice of banana bread loaf? Huh!" Josea said, and picked up Snow White is a Gangster and posed for the camera.

"That is so unfair." The girls clicked hundreds and hundreds of photos with different poses(well, not hundreds). Changing views to make it look more attractive, more flashing.

"So what do you like to do for fun?" Ashley asked, after the photo session was complete. She had picked up the cappuccino.

"What else, atte, look," Josea said, pointing to the other book with her eyes.

"Nerd," dismissing the topic. She was holding Josea by her hand and showing the pictures.

"Starbucks doesn't sell Chocolate Hazelnut Milk-tea, Rain." The store was fully packed and people were waiting in line to buy their drinks. The coffee store was inside Indigo which made it easy to borrow new releases, or old books and read it for free. People around the table were taking their time and enjoying. A table with 3 boys were playing UNO. A man keeping his left leg on a chair and the waiter assisting him with it. Some one deep inside Netflix with the free WiFi. "Do I go tell the cashier?" said Maan.

"Blah Blah Blah, Mr. Rectangular glasses," Josea said and looked towards the cashier if the voice was too loud to be heard.

"This one," said Ashley, and got a agreeing nod from Josea for uploading the picture on Facebook.

"Who's that?" said Maan.

"Who, beshi?" It was Ashley taking her time with the cappuccino.

"The ugly one beside the white dress," there was a smirk on his face. He looked at Josea and there was a matching smirk on her face.

"I don't see anyone with white dress, beshi. Where?" said Ashley, she was looking in the Indigo section now. There were many people standing near book shelfs, few new computer monitors and searching for the right book or the author.

"Ashley, meet ugly," pointing to the picture in the phone. "Ugly, meet my gorgeous best friend, Ashley," Josea said.

Making a red face like a monkey, and locking the screen of her phone, Ashley said, "I know your secret, beshi. Do you want me to?"
