Chapter7.

Dad seems a bit weird since the day I arrived. He's happy that I'm finally home but I find him in deep  thoughts sometimes or talking to someone in his phone. Kapag tinatanong ko naman siya ay laging niyang sinasabi na investor or his secretary lang ito.

10 days. It's been 10 days since I arrived yet I still can't contact him or he didn't even bother to contact me. Mapait siyang napangiti. Maybe he thought it's his chance to forget and get rid of me. She's just a stranger who needs a child.

"Blaire?" Napalingon siya sa tumawag sakaniya at nanlaki ang mata niya sa nakita.

"Vince?" Nakangiti siyang tumayo sa kinauupuan sa hardin at niyakap ang binata.

"Hello there beautiful." Nakangiting yakap din nito sakanya

"Oh my god. How did you know I'm here? And why are you here? I thought sa spain ka na naka base?" Takang tanong nito sa lalaki.

"Come on, let's seat first." Yakag nito sakaniya at umupo sa garden chair. Vince looks around before turning to her with a smile.

Vince is close to her. He's  one of her closest friends before they separate after highschool. They see each other sometimes kapag may lay over ito sa singapore o kapag siya naman ang napapadpad sa europe.

"How are you?" Tanong ng binata sakaniya habang kumakain sila.

"I'm good, still catching up  with some company stuff. I'm starting tomorrow as the new COO of the company.." I smiled to him and chuckled.

"Why? something funny?" Takang tanong nya after sipping his coffee

"You know how dad was very persistent in making me home as soon as I graduate in singapore and when I finally decided to stay parang gulat na gulat naman siya when I told him my decision.." It's true. She remembers her father's reaction that time..  

"o-oh?  are you sure iha about this?" Tila gulat pa din ang ama niya sakanyang desisyon

"Yes dad. Besides you want me to work in the company after my studies,right? so here i'am."

"Yes iha, but how about our deal?" Taim na titig sakaniya ng ama

"Uhm, well.. I could check the sperm bank? " Suhestyon ko sakaniya. 

Tinitigan siya ng kanyang ama, parang may gusto itong sabihin ngunit may pumipigil sakaniya..

"Dad?" Takaw pansin niya dito

Napailing ang ama niya bago mag salita.. "Pag isipan mong mabuti iha ang balak mo.. This weekend, I will introduce you as the COO. I won't give you the company hanggat wala akong apo.." at t  umayo na ang ama nito sa hapagkainan

"Dad, why do you always insist on having a grandchild ? I'm still young." 

"I want a grandchild Blaire, end of the discussion.." Tipid nitong sagot at umalis

"Blaire?" Pukaw ni Vince sakaniya habang sumisimsim ng kape

"Vince, Will you be my sperm donor?" Seryosong tanong niya sa binata

Napabuga ng kape ang binata sa sinabi niya.. "What the fuck?" Nakatingin ito sakaniya na para bang tinubuan sya ng isa pang ulo

"Okay hear me out. Dad wants to have a grandchild before he pass to me the company. You're my closest friend. You can just donate your sperm to me. Ako ng bahala.." Paliwanag niya dito

"My god Blaire, I know we're friends all but, us? Having a kid? Are you seriously asking me this?"

"Pag isipan mo muna. I can take care of the child for the rest of my life. Pwede kang magpakilala or not. whatever you want. Look, we know each other, our families, our family history and all.."

Nakatitig lang sakaniya ang binata na tila nag iisip.. She's kinda desperate. Not because she wants the company pronto but because her father is not doing well already. Even if she's the COO ay nasa ama pa din ang mga mmabibigat na desisyon at meeting. She has to do something.

"I'm not saying yes Blaire.."

Napabagsak ang balikat ng dalaga..

"But okay, I'll reconsider.. Now smile beautiful. Hindi bagay sayo ang malungkot.." 

"Thanks Vince.." She smiled genuinely and touch his hands.. "By the way, saan ka pala mag vavacation? Are you gonna stay here in the city?"

"No.. I'll be staying in my beach house. But you know how to contact me if something happened,right?" Reassuring her..

"Yes, Oh so this means you won't be able to be my date on saturdate?" Tanong niya sa binata

"Oh is that on the weekend?" 

"Yes, be my date then escape to your secret beach house.." She rolled her eyes and smiled to Vince. Nobody knows where it is. Lagi nitong sinasabi na ang makaka alam lang nun ay ang magiging asawa niya. Eh akala mo anaman may matinong girlfriend.

"Okay okay. I'll be there. Now I'm leaving, mag aayos pa ko papers sa office before I can finally have my fucing vacation.." Napailing ang dalaga, hindi pa din nag babago ang bibig nito. Palamura pa din.

They hug and said goodbye to each other before her phone rings.. Napakinot ang noo niya sa nakita..

*Uknown number calling..

"hello? Who's this?"

.....

"What???"

"Bakit ang tagal mo sa loob? " Iritadong tanong ng lalaki at pina andar ang kotse

"Syempre alangang eat and run lang ako? Tsaka nag usap pa kami kasi inaalok nya kong maging sperm donor" Napansin ni Vince na gumalaw ang mga panga nito at humigpit ang pagkaka hawak sa manibela

"Anong sabi mo?" Seryosong tanong ng lalaki

"Sabi ko pag iisipan ko. alam mo naman---"

*ssskkrrtt

"Ano ba!!" Napasubsob si Vince sa harapan ng kotse buti na lang at naka seat belt na siya kundi nagka palit na sila ng mukha ng dash board

"May pusang dumaan.."

"ulol ka, walang pusa dito!" sigaw naman niya sa lalaki

Napangisi ang lalaki at pina andar na ulit ang sasakyan..
