Savannah's pov

I sat up quickly. My breathing heavy. My head pounding. The air around me heavy. As I played back the dream- flashback- in my head.

"Your not pretty." My mother said.
"Your worthless." She said. Ben sat watching. Tears threatening to fall. Bruises covering his face. Seeing him like this gave me strength.
"FUCK OFF!" I yelled. I slapped my mother. Big mistake. My feet were taking out from underneath me. Thrown into the basement with no food. Ben down here crying his eyes out. 14. 14 years old. Putting up with this. Well not for any longer.
"Ben pack a fucking bag." I said.
"A bag of what." He said.
"Fine hurry up." I sighed. I slid the small window in the basement open. I grabbed a chair a climbed through the window. Ben next. So skinny we slipped through. Running down the block. Turning corner after corner. Finding an alley way to sleep in. I sat down. But no Ben. He went his own way. I laid their crying.

"SAV!" Devyn yelled running into my room. I was crying rocking back and forth.
"Oh baby." She sighed. She sat next to me and hugged me tightly. I cried into her shirt.
"Your Okay your safe." She said soothingly.
"P-please don't te-ll dad." I cried.
"Don't t-tell anyone p-p-Please." I said. She looked at me and nodded.
"But baby what don't you want me to tell them?" Devyn asked. I flipped my arms over earning a gasp from Devyn.
"Savannah you have to let me tell them." She said. I shook my head violently.
"Please honey." She hugged me.
"NO!" I yelled pulling away. She looked shocked.
"Sorry. SORRY!" I cried.
