Bakugo's P.O.V

I sat on the edge of the roof eating my sandwich. I heard the door open and close. I didn't have to look back to know it was Kirishima. He sat down next to me. "So tell me" he said looking at me. He sat his tray aside, full attention on me. I ate my last bite of my sandwich and tossed the wrap onto his tray. "Everything?" I asked. "Everything" he said nodding. I sighed as I looked up at the sky. How do I start this? How hey by the way am dying. "Remember when I told you about my ears?" I asked. He nods. "Well there is more wrong with me, the thing that really bothers me. You remember that kid..the one you cried about? I have what he has" I said. Kirishima looks at me with wide eyes.

"..is that why y-" "No, I knew I was dying since I was a kid. I went for my check up Saturday morning and they found that it's mutated" I said looking up at the gray clouds rolling in. "You're.. dying" he whispered as it sink in. "Hmm it was that I was going to die at 27 but now it's two years from now. He said if it mutates more..it will be six months" I said looking at the now gray sky. Kirishima hugs me close. The sky opened up and the rain started to put down. "Am sorry.." he whispered. "It's fine..they think they can find a cure with my mutation" I said trying to cheer him up. He hugs me closer, my head on his chest. "This...is why you didn't want us to be together?" He asked. I nod. "I didn't want you to get hurt by finding out" I Whispered as tears threatened to fall.

"Bakugo, I love you. This won't change that...it won't make the pain change either. But one thing it will change is our memories. You need to make the best of what you have left...not hide in fear by yourself" said Kirishima kissing my head. The rain started to calm down. "You..I..yeah your right. I..love you too" I said hugging him tighter. "Date me and stop suffering alone" said Kirishima as the sun peaks out from the gray clouds. "I...yeah" I said closing my eyes. The sun was warm and comforting.
