Risky Cure

Bakugo's P.O.V

Kirishima and I walked into the hospital. Today's the day, if they have a cure I will live if not am gonna die soon. Kirishima plays with his bracelet clueless. "Appointment for Bakugo Katsuki" I said to the lady at the front desk. She nods. "He will be with you shortly" she said smiling. Kirishima lead me to the waiting room and we sat down. "I am so excited" said Kirishima. I smiled. I promised him to introduce him to my parents as my boyfriend today. He's been after me these past two months to do it. "Oh next week we can go to my mom's and I can introduce you. She is going to love you as well as Momma" said Kirishima excitedly. I smile. "Yeah that sounds good" I said squeezing his hand. He looked at me. "You okay babe?" He asked squeezing back. "Just..don't like cheek ups" I said kissing his cheek. "Bakugo Katsuki" said the doctor. I got up and Kirishima smiled at me.

I followed the doctor into the room. He asked the questions and then I noticed he didn't take a blood sample. "So I have some good news" said the doctor turning to me. A smile on his face. "They found you a cure..two actually" he said smiling. I sighed in relief. "But..they do come with risk. First one is in pill form that will be taken three times a day. It will eat at the cancer filled cells and you have big risk of a heart attach as well as losing your quirk. The second is a large dose in needle form. You need to take it at the end of every day. It has higher risk of a heart attach and less risk of losing your quirk" said the doctor. I nod taking in all the information. "So which one do you want? It should be in next week" said the doctor looking at his computer. "The needle one" I said looking down. He nods and types something down. "Alright well we don't need anymore blood samples or scans from you so were done today" he said smiling. I nod.

"How did it go?" Asked Kirishima as I walked up to him. He stood ready to leave. I hug him tightly. "Babe? Something wrong?" He asked hugging back. I shake my head as I shook. He pulled back and looked at me. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Fuck.. nothing. They..found a cure" I said smiling as tears fell down my face. Kirishima's eyes widened and he hugs me. I hug him tightly as I cry into his shoulder. "Hmm am so happy for you babe" he said softly. "Me too.." I Whispered. I can finally live my life. I can hold and open up to Kirishima more. I can stop my useless acts to push people away. I can become a hero and graduate now. I smile as I cry more into Kirishima's shoulder. Finally I can stop being afraid.
