You didn't end up saying no to Mingi.
It was Valentine's Day after all.

Every time he touched you, every time that he kissed you.
The most simple things that he did had you falling deeper in love with him.

You cuddled close to his naked body, thinking over your future with him.
It wasn't a bad looking one.

He was such an amazing man, who clearly loved you.
Sure the two of you have had some petty arguments, but what couple doesn't.

You loved this man.
It was more clear to you now than it had ever been before.

He looked so sweet and peaceful when he slept.
His mouth hung open slightly as he snored a little.

His skin felt amazing against yours, almost as if your bodies were made for each other.

He rolled over onto his stomach and laid an arm across your body.
He was still asleep when he did this.

You tangled your fingers into his short coarse hair.

He was everything to you.
And now, he was the father of your child.

You were going to have a family together.
It won't be easy, but you knew that you could make it work.

He moved slightly as you were admiring him.

You froze, hoping that you weren't disturbing his sleep.

He groaned and opened his eyes.

"Did I wake you up?"
You asked him.

"No, sorry I fell asleep on you"
He olled back and yawned, laughing at himself.

"It's okay. You worked too hard"
You joked with him.

He laughed once more.
"Yep, wore myself out"

You snaked your hand under his head, playing with his hair again.

"I have an appointment on Tuesday"
You said.

"You do?"

"Yeah.. you should come with.. I get an ultrasound"

"What time is it at?"
He asked.

"It's at 3:30.. so right after I get off work"

"I don't get off until four though"
He said, pointing out that it wouldn't work.

"Maybe you can get off a little bit earlier"

"Maybe"

Over the weekend, you and Mingi worked out getting you moved into his place.

It wasn't as stressful as you had initially thought it would be.

His house was very nicely kept.
That being said, it wasn't an anxiety inducer to be living with him.

Tonight was your first official night sleeping at his house.

You didn't want to give a moving out notice to your landlord on the slight chance of you and Mingi not doing well in such a close proximity.

Tomorrow was your first appointment.
Needless to say, you were very nervous.

Mingi had just come home from work a little while ago.
He was now in the kitchen cooking dinner for the two of you as he jammed to his Korean music.

He would always play songs with strong rapping parts in them and rap with them.

He had talent for sure.

There was also to a lot of Drake that he listened to.
You weren't the biggest fan of that.

He soon came into the living room with the food.

Yellow rice topped with a steaming seasoned chicken breast.

It smelled amazing. You could hardly wait to devour it.

"Thank you"
You said as you took ahold of the plate that he was handing you.

"No problem"
He sat down on the couch next to you.

"I should probably learn how to cook for you huh?"

He laughed.
"I mean.. probably"

You looked down at the food, taking a bite.
"Mhmm nah, I think I'll leave it up to you"

You giggled.

"You excited for tomorrow?"
He asked you.

"Nervous.."
You replied.

He got an okay to leave work early so that he could take you to the appointment.

"Me too.. but It'll be cool to see right?"

You could tell that he was still worried about this whole situation.

He loved you and never wanted for you to feel bad.
Yet it clearly had him on edge.

He didn't open up a whole lot about how his parents felt.
You assumed it was to keep you from being hurt, but he was dealing with so much on his own by not telling you.

It made you sad.
You wanted to comfort him, but how do you comfort someone who won't tell you what's going on.

"Why won't you tell me how your parents feel Mingi"
You finally got up the courage to ask him again.

He took a moment to finish chewing.
"Because it doesn't matter"

"It does to me"

He laid a hand on yours.
"Well what matters to me is that you don't have a stressful pregnancy"
