Bennett POV

"Bennett Williams please report to the principal's office immediately," it was announced in the school speakers during third period. Hearing the principal saying those words made my stomach turn a little.

"Mr Williams put your pencil down and head to the principal's office," I heard my Math teacher, Mrs Jones say. The whole class then diverted their attention towards me. I swear, this woman is always on my ass trying to put me on the spotlight or something. I'm pretty sure she is crushing on me hard. I mean who wouldn't want to get their hands on sexy Bennett Williams. I mean I'm sexy.

"You gotta be kidding me," I mumbled under my breath as I was rolling my eyes.

"What was that Mr Williams?" Mrs Jones said.

"Nothing ma'am"

"Mhm, that's what I thought. Now head out."

I walked out eyeing Lilly,my best friend.

"This all your fault bitch," I whispered loud enough for Lilly to hear me but not loud enough for any other nosy nigga to hear me. She just saluted me with her middle finger then shrugging it off leaving that sinister smile of hers planted on her face. I chuckled at her wired gesture. She lucky she like my baby sister otherwise I would have whopped her ass by now.

I fixed myself as I was approaching the waiting room. I sat on one of the chairs slouching with my legs crossed. I gnawed at my nails thinking of an excuse. I got it; I'll give her the old 'cute puppy dog face' that shit worked all the time back at the orphanage whenever I got into some type of trouble.

"You could at least had the decency to remove that ketchup stain off your shirt," I heard the school's receptionist say, completely snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Don't worry, I got it," I said licking the last bit of ketchup that was left after devouring that last bit of hot dog I ate for breakfast. I saw her scrunching up her face in disgust from what I just did. "The principal is ready for you Bennett," she said getting off the phone.

"Have a sit Mr Williams," Mrs McClain, the principal said pointing to the empty sit in front off her table. I took a deep breath and sat down crossing my legs. "Would you please stop sitting like that, it makes you look gay," she said sounding agitated. I immediately obeyed her orders and there was an awkward silence between us after that.

"So," I said finally breaking the silence rubbing my thighs. "I love what you did with the place. I see the basketball team has been bringing home the gold," I said pointing at the trophies around. Mr McClain just stared at me clearly unamused by my ice breaker.

"Mr Williams explain yourself," she said nonchalantly.

"Well ma'am, I would like to think of myself as a suave young man. I am a lady's man but I ain't a player. Ya know what I mean," I chuckled popping my collar with confidence evident in my voice.

"Bennett Williams!" she said finally snapping. Her under eye vein was bulging and her nostrils flaring in anger. I sank into my sit. I might have slightly crossed the line with this one. It ain't my fault, I was just trying to ease the tension between us and make sure that there wasn't any bad blood between us. I sank into my sit a bit more waiting her to vent out her anger and feel her wrath. She snatched out a file out of her drawer, took out its contents and handed me them to see. I already knew they were pictures from the CCTV cameras installed in the school.

"Care to tell me what's happening in the pictures Mr Williams?"

Is she serious right now? That's what were doing now? Playing dumb? Its clear as day what's happening in the pictures. Well in that case, two can play that game.

"Huh," I said weakly.

"Don't 'huh' me young man. Care to tell me why the CCTV cameras caught you smoking and tagging the walls on school grounds after school?" I looked at the pictures closely and I couldn't see Lilly in any of them. It was a bit odd because we were together doing all those shenanigans. Then it hit me, she must have been standing in the camera's blind spot. That explains it.

I cleared my throat, "Well ma'am what you see here is...is my secret twin brother who likes coming to school after hours wearing the exact same clothes as me then starts tagging the walls and smoking." Why Bennett? Just why? I was such a pathological liar. One chance, I had one chance to confess and probably reduce my punishment. Well, I'm in too deep now so might as well roll with it.

"Does this twin brother of yours have a name?" She said with her arms crossed.

"Jennet... Jennet Jackson Williams," I answered nodding with a smirk on my face.

"Really? Jennet Jackson Williams? Why does he have such a girly name? You know what? I don't even want to hear it." She said shaking her head. "I'm fed up with you," she said singing a paper frantically. "Here!" She said handing me the paper. "Your suspended for four weeks Bennett Russell Williams. I will inform your teachers to keep you updated with school work," she said rubbing her temples then shooing me off.
