Beyonce POV

I stood there as I thought of whether I should knock and wait for Bennett to come out and get his tray of food or just leave the tray and let him take it when he felt like eating. After last night's disclosure Bennett hasn't eaten anything nor has he came out of his room to eat breakfast.

"Give him some time to process all of this Beyonce," I heard as my mom placed her hand on my shoulder.

Bennett wasn't my only problem. Shawn called and told me he was coming home early and that he wants to discuss something important with me. I can't handle Shawn's drama right now, I gotta focus on my son.

I stood there, debating whether or not I should try and open the door. I watched as my hand went on and twisted the doorknob. Surprisingly, the door was unlocked. I slowly opened the door and that's when I saw Bennett with his hoodie on, lying on the bed as he stared at the ceiling. In the background I faintly heard one of my songs playing which was Resentment.

...I thought I could forgive you
And I know you've changed
As much as I wanna trust you
I know it ain't the same
And its all because you've lied
I only give you a hard time coz I can't go on and pretend like
I haven't tried to forgive this
But I'm much too full of resentment...

Those were the only words I could hear as they were on repeat. I found myself shedding tears knowing how much I've hurt him. If only I could turn back the hands of time and If only I could take away his pain. I know first hand how it felt like being betrayed.

"Crying won't work on me Beyonce. Go on and shed those tears to someone who gives a damn," I heard Bennett say lowly still staring at the ceiling. "What's done is done," he said sitting up staring at me.

"I'm sorry," I said in a voice cracking with emotion.

"You can keep your apology. 'Sorry' is such an overrated word. We say it without meaning," he said sternly. "I believe in actions speak louder than words. I may not know what you were going through but what I know is that, what you did was wrong but who am I to judge," he said shrugging. "I don't know what you're going through and you don't know what I'm going through and we both are in no state to judge each other. You can't judge a torn soul until you felt its pain," he stopped to wipe away his tears.

"I never meant to hurt you," I said walking towards him and sat on his bed.

"I know," he nodded, "And I also never meant to say all those hurtful stuff to you yesterday. I'm not a hypocrite, I do what I preach. Let's agree to let the past be our life lesson, live in the present and hope for the best as we surrender to the future," he smiled as he wiped his tears.

"I would love that baby boo," I said trying my luck. He hugged me, catching me off guard. I hugged him back and remained in that position for a while.

I sat on the bed with Bennett as he told me about the dreams he has about his dad and the night terrors he gets once in a while. I'm willing to get back my son and make things right with him. I have seven years I have to make up for and I see us rekindling our relationship.

"Aye, you feeling aight babe. You have never refused wine before," Michael said holding the bottle of wine as we ate lunch in the restaurant. It was our first day out in public as an official couple and was our first date since we became official.

"Don't worry, I will eventually drink wine. Right now, I'm on a nonalcoholic diet for the next seven months," I said giggling.

He looked around before leaning forward,"Beyonce, are you high?" He whispered with a raised eyebrow.

I rubbed my temples at his stupid accusation, "Nigga can't you take a hint?" I said as I rolled my eyes. "Your daddy can't take hints," I said looking down.

"Who the hell you talking to? Now I know you high," he said looking confused.

"I'm trying to tell you that I'm two months pregnant," I confessed. His face lit up as he came by my side and hugged me not caring that people were staring.

"This is just amazing," he said filled with joy.

"After this I'm going to meet Shawn. Imma bring Bennett because he said he wanna pick up something at the office," I said.

"Imma also come with you guys just to make sure y'all are safe," he said and I agreed for him to come. We went back to our date and enjoyed ourselves.
