Lucas' POV

It'd been a few months, we just got back from Spring break. Ash and I had become pretty close.

He was honestly so much better than I ever thought he was. He was smart, kind, caring, understanding, and so freaking adorable. He got super shy all of the time and it was the cutest thing ever in my eyes.

We had a lot in common too. We both loved art class, hated science, he played the guitar and I liked to sing. There was so much more too. Ugh... I fell for him more and more every time we talked.

A- Hey

L- Hi :)

A- Are you going to the party tonight?

L- Lol even if I wasn't, Alice would make me

A- If she doesn't, I will :p

L- Lol

A- Oh yeah, this is embarrassing... Ricky and Sara wanna ask you something when they see you

L- Why is it embarrassing?

A- Cause they are embarrassing lol, I love them but they're a lot.

L- I get that lol. No worries, I'll answer truthfully

A- Ok. Well see you later, I'm gonna go get food

L- See ya

I had talked to Ricky and Sara, Ash's friends that I saw him talking to at the parties, a decent amount. They were really nice too. And I found out they were both gay, which was fucking awesome because that meant that Ash was okay with gay people. Well, obviously more than okay with but... still! When I found that out, I was so happy.

"Hurry up!"

"I'm hurrying! Calm down!"

I heard her groan through the door which made Jack and I laugh -- Jack laughed while outside with her.

I wanted to look good that day... I don't know why... but yeah. So, I threw on my plain black hoodie and white jeans and my vans and walked out of my room.

"You take longer to get ready than a girl!"

I rolled my eyes but laughed, "Do you want me to go or not?"

She huffed and turned on her heel and walked away, with Jack and I following.

I nudged him and whispered, "Such a drama queen."

He laughed a little and nodded.

Soon after we were at the party, we got there a little later because of me but the games hadn't started yet so it was fine. To me anyway, Alice complained but hugged me before she went to her other friends. Oh yeah! We established why Jack and Alice never hung out with me during the parties -- it was because they (mainly Alice) wanted me to socialize more, or some shit and they knew I wouldn't if they were with me. It was fine though because Ash's group was pretty cool.

I spotted them sitting off to the side and I joined them, "Hey, guys."

They smiled at me, "Hey."

"So," Ricky started, "we had some questions for you."

I looked at Ash and he smiled awkwardly at me, I looked back at Ricky and Sara, "Ok."

"So first off, who are your friends?"

"I have two, Alice and Jack. Alice is a cheerleader and Jack plays baseball with me."

They nodded, "Are they dating anyone?"
