How we met~

Y/n's POV:

Yes! VidCon is finally here! After years of missing it because of schoolwork and other life stuff, I get to finally go to the beauty of Anaheim, California! I have a YouTube channel called y/c/n, and after I graduated high school just a few weeks ago, I was shocked at how I got 100,000 subscribers! 

I've always wanted to go to VidCon for two main reasons: 1, to get out of the house. And 2, I really wanted to meet my favorite creators. But there was one of my favorite YouTubers who I so desperately wanted to meet, and that is drumroll, please... 

SomeThingElseYT! Or Adam if you go by his name. 

I've always liked his videos ever since he posted his first animation. He just makes my day whenever he uploads, and I enjoy him and his content! 

Though, ever since I first saw his face, I've always had a huge crush on this dude. With his deep brown eyes and his cute face and not to mention, I do have a thing for glasses. It's more of a reason why I wanted to meet this guy.

I arrived at the Marriot hotel and checked in. After I got into my room, I flopped onto the bed. I was so excited that I thought I might not fall asleep that night.  But to my surprise, I dozed off still thinking about how I'm going to meet my number 1 idol.

~The next day...~

Adam's POV:

I woke up surprisingly early. Even before my alarm clock went off. I had to wake up early because since now I'm a featured creator, I have a bunch more stuff to do at VidCon. Also, if I had time, I wanted to go meet one of my favorite YouTubers of mine, y/c/n!  She's an animator, like me, and she had just gotten 100,000 subscribers! I was really excited for her and I bet she's hyped. 

Not long ago she did a face reveal to let people know that she was going to VidCon, and I honestly blushed the second her face appeared. She was really pretty, sweet and I'm pretty excited to meet her!

I drove out to the convention center and met up with my buddy Jameson.

"Oh hey, you're earlier than I expected, " he said with a chuckle.

"Psh, what are you talking about, I'm always early," I said back laughing.

"Hey, aren't you going to see that Y/n girl? What time 'cause you know you're SUPER busy today."

"Uh, I think at 2:30?" I said.

"Alright, I might go with you to meet her 'cause admittedly I kinda wanna meet her too." Then he got kinda scared because I was glaring at him. 

"Uh, not like that! She's all yours, bro," he said, defensively. I calmed down a bit. 

"So we've got a lot of time to get the stuff done and then we can go," I said, excitedly.

Y/n's POV:

I looked at my phone for the time. 2:25 pm it said on the screen.  I didn't really have anything to do since I wasn't really that much well known even though there were some of my followers that said hi to me and were really sweet and kind. And I have met Jaiden Animations and Let Me Explain Studios, but I for some reason couldn't find Adam or my other favorite creator TheOdd1sOut aka James. And I didn't really eat a good breakfast since I woke up kinda late and only had a muffin... so I was pretty much starving. So I left to get some lunch at (favorite food place). I'll meet him later.

While I was eating, however, I was looking on my phone, scrolling through Instagram and Adam posts that he was on his way to see me! (not a real post sorry don't attack me) I was panicking by now. I dashed out of (favorite food place) and booked it to the convention center. I was running so much that I couldn't feel my legs and my lungs started to hurt as I kept on gulping air. Oh my god, oh my god... I should be going to the gym (if you get that reference we're buddies)  I was about to slow down when *THUMP* I ran into a man's back. I fell onto the floor. 

"Oh my gosh, miss, a-are you okay??" A voice asked.

"Uhm, I think?" I responded.

"Here let me help you," he said, lending a hand towards me. I looked up to see who it was and...

Adam?!?

We both looked at each other in shock. 

"It's you!" We said in unison.

I quickly got up from the floor, immediately feeling embarrassed. 

"Uh, hi, I'm-"

"Y/c/n!  I've been looking forward to meeting you!! I'm Adam," He said, lending out his hand for me to shake. I took his hand and shook it professionally.

"I know, I've been subscribed to your channel since forever now! I was looking forward to meeting you too but I was eating and I saw your post..." 

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I interrupt you eating? We can get some lunch somewhere. I'm starving anyway," Adam said with a smile.

I blushed a little bit and smiled back.

"That's fine by me."
