Ice Cream Invite

I had this in my brain last night and not gonna lie, I was acting it out by myself, so... yeah it must've looked so weird if someone walked in my room ;-;

Y/n's POV:

*sigh*

I'm here waiting for my buddy Adam to get here because I invited him for ice cream and he said he'll come... but when?

I've been friends with Adam for over a year now, and I've liked him for quite a while. I invited him because I'm bored and got nothing else left to do. And also I wanted to get a break from editing the animation I was working on. But I guess he's still working so I should probably get going.

I stood up to leave when there was a jingle sound of bells ringing. Somebody entered the ice cream shop. I looked up to see who it was was and smiled.

It was Adam.

"You're late, bagel boy," I said, even though I was hyped that he finally arrived.

"Yeah, sorry I kinda forgot," he said, admittedly.

"Well, you're here now, so it's fine."

We both ordered our ice cream, I ordered f/i/c and he ordered Nutella. We were talking about random stuff, from Post Malone to why mosquitoes look so stupid. Then we somehow got into the topic about our past relationships. I rambled about how I dated the stupidest guys ever, while he never really got into a relationship ever since that Cheerio girl he talked about in his camping video. But he says he likes someone. I wonder who?

Adam's POV:

Shoot. I blurted out that I liked someone. Thank God I didn't say who, though. But she's looking curious to find out who it is. And I don't think she'll figure it out because she's like that even though I tell her she's the most perfect human being ever.

Y/n and I have been friends over a year, and I've liked her ever since we met. She's smart, kind, caring, and all in all, beautiful. And anybody who doesn't like her can suck my left toe 'cause she's amazing!

"Well, who is it??" Y/n asked. 

"Um, well, I mean-- uh-- I don't--..." I was stammering so bad, I've never gotten this nervous before, I was sweating.

She took hold of my hands and I looked at her, blushing a little.

"Hey, listen, it's ok. Take a deep breath. In from your nose and out through your mouth. C'mon, I'll do it with you." 

We both took deep breaths-- I think 3 deep breaths we took-- and I calmed down some. 

"Thanks," I said.

"No problem. I'm sorry that I asked you that. If you don't want to tell me, that's fine I guess I just-"

"I like you, Y/n."

"W-what??"

"I like you," I said. I took her hands in mine and kissed them. She was blushing uncontrollably.

After a few moments, she squeezed my hands and smiled sweetly at me.

"I like you too, Adam," she said.
