Y/n's POV

I'm excited. I'm meeting this cute guy I met at the restaurant, and apparently his name is Adam. Not gonna lie, when I served his table when we met, I lowkey wanted to just serve him and leave the others to Christina, my coworker. But that would probably get me fired, so yeah I didn't do that.

We were gonna meet up at a cafe down the street from my apartment to go and gets some food and maybe a cup coffee, I dunno. I'm already here so I'm just waiting for him to arrive. But it's already been twenty minutes.

Maybe he isn't coming. I feel like I'm having deja vu right now...

All of a sudden, I hear the front door bust open, like someone was rushing to get here. Well, damn. I look up and smiled. It was Adam, and he looked like he was running because he was sweaty, and he was out of breath. I stood up and went to him.

"Wow, are you okay?" I asked.

He took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm okay. My dogs gave me a hard time with me leaving the house so that's why I'm late," he said.

"Oh, it's okay. Let's just sit down shall we?" 

We sat at our table and we just rambled. We talked about life, dogs and our interests. He said that he had a YouTube channel called SomeThingElseYT which made me excited because now I know what to watch when I get back home later on. What's more, he does animation and voice acting?! I've always had an appreciation for art so I'm obviously on board with this thing already.

We left the cafe and we drove down the streets of L.A. I was tempted to hold his hand but I wasn't sure if he felt comfortable with that so I just put my hands behind my back. I really do like him because his personality is just amazing and uh, he's very cute 

This was going great so far!

Adam's POV

I've been having a blast with Y/n right now. She's really fun to be around, and I still can't get over how beautiful she is. I wanted to at least hold her hand but she kept them behind her back. Maybe she doesn't really like me that way. I hope I can still be her friend, though.

It was a really nice evening so I suggested that we could stargaze. She seemed cool with the idea so we went to a hill that was a few miles away from the city and laid down on the grass. We were still talking and making jokes, enjoying each other's company.

Then I had to just admit it. I took Y/n's soft hands and held them in mine. I saw a pink tint spread across her face.

"Y/n, I just want to say that it's been awesome hanging out with you and I really enjoyed our time together tonight," I said smiling, "And I... I really like you, Y/n."

I blushed while saying these words to her, and was looking down because her e/c eyes would pierce right through me. Actually scratch that. My heart.

"I like you too, Adam."

I looked up at her smiling sweetly at me. I smiled back widely and hugged her tightly as if she was going to disappear from my arms. She hugged back while giggling. I pulled away from her and lifted up her chin, and inched closer and closer to her face. Eventually, she got tired and closed the gap between us. 

The kiss lasted for what seemed like forever but we pulled away after a few moments smiling at each other.

This is the best night ever.

I'm so sorry I didn't upload for the past few days it literally took me all my effort to even think of what to put for this oneshot but I'm glad I got this out of the way.

Phew.
