Y/n's POV

It's that time of year again! Vidcon.

It's always exciting to me because since I have a YouTube channel now, I get to meet my subscribers and other YouTubers! So far I've met TheOdd1sOutl, Jaiden Animations, and TheAmaazing. They're very nice and I took some pictures with them at the last Con.

But lately, I've been hearing about this other animator/YouTuber on Twitter and whenever I have free time to watch a video or two. I think his name is, like, SomeThingElseYT...? I always see this one video on my recommended feed on YouTube, titled "I'm SomeThing Else", by the same guy. It looked entertaining, especially with the amount of views it got.

I've tried my best to avoid seeing that video, because it was annoying whenever I'm done watching a video and I just see that thumbnail pop up at my screen. But eventually, I caved in and watched the video. 

My god, that shit was beautiful.

After that video, I went down a rabbit hole of SomeThingElseYT videos. How come I never watched him before?! He was so funny! I noticed he took inspiration from Jaiden, and yet people still think he's a rip off/ plagarizer (<-- I dunno if I spelled that correctly). That kinda pissed me off, how stupid people can be at times, but I couldn't do anything about it anyway.

What was I talking about before? Oh yeah, Vidcon.

So here I am, walking with James getting some lunch because we were starving. I was talking to James when all of a sudden, we both heard a voice behind us.

"Jameson?"

We turned around and I blushed.

Standing there, was a man who looked the same age as James, maybe a year younger. He had big glasses over his dark brown eyes, a stubbly beard lining his jaw line, black hair sticking out a little under his red cap on his head.

"Yo, Earth to Y/nnn," James waved his hand front of my face.

"I- uh sorry I was t-thinking," I said turning red.

"Thinking while staring at Adam? Real smooth, Y/n."

"Shut up!" I turned to the guy. "So you're Adam?"

He shrugged and said, "I guess so, how're you doing? Nice to meet you."

Adam holds out his hand to shake and I do.

"I'm Y/n, and likewise."

We all got lunch together, talking and laughing. I eventually learned that this Adam guy was SomeThingElseYT, and then James left us there, talking, but we didn't notice. We talked about music and-

"Oh, I have to go. I have a meet and greet starting in 15 minutes, and it's a long walk from here," Adam said.

"Oh, okay!" I said.

"I'll see you around, Ms. Y/n."

I blushed and said, "O-okay.."

He left rather quickly. I wonder if said something dumb or stupid that made him leave. I sighed. Just my freaking luck.

I headed back inside the convention and walked around, getting free stuff, playing some dope games and whatever. And then I see a little performance stage where someone was singing a song that I didn't know.
