i walked through the crowded hallway with my books on hand while the other one holding my pencil case.

"hi mr jung!" i smiled to the one who greeted me and i could heard a squeal coming from the group.

it was lunch break but i didn't feel like eating as i need to finish my tutor report.

you could imagine how bad i wanted to avoid that thing.

as i was about to take the stairs, i spotted shim jaerin, leaning towards the rail. a piece on paper on her hands. she was alone and practically, ever since i transferred here, she was always alone.

few minutes later, the paper she was holding suddenly tored into few pieces before letting it fell from her hands.

a sigh escaped as she breath in.

turning her heels away from the rail, she walked slowly to her class. i blinked my eyes at sudden realisation before taking the stairs down. eventhough my report was way more important, my legs brought me down to where the papers landed.

as i grew closer to it, it was not, after all a piece of paper with some random notes like what i thought it would be.

i picked the pieces quickly and brought it to my table. i was working hard to see what it was since i saw a ball and a back of someone with number 14 displayed at the back of the shirt in one of the pieces.

"wait a second,"

after a few trial, the torn pieces was back to whole. i gasped as i looked to the picture. it was taken 8 years back when the school held a basketball championship.

i remembered it so vividly,

the boy in the picture,

it was me.
