shim jaerin's point of view

after the cold winter, the seniors  were finally graduating from high school.

few minutes left before the ceremony began, i sat down at the usual place like the time when i was still a high school student while the rest of them were still touching up their selves before walking down to the hall

i could careless about it.

i was more interested with the sakura petals that was on a tree near our gate. it was very pink when they bloomed from the cold winter.

it was supposed to be my day but i can't help myself to stop thinking about him. after our goodbyes, we didn't contact each other.

i didn't even heard anything about him.

a sigh escaped from my mouth.

"jaerin, we're ready!"

before i got carried away with my own feelings, i quickly joined them in line before walking all together to the hall.

i was honoured as #1 student and everyone in the hall cheered for me. i was beyond happy about it and i saw my mother in the crowd, looking all proud.

few of them gave me flowers and chocolates as a congratulation wish. my mother held out a bouquet of red roses to me. i looked at my mother.

"what's with the roses?" i teased.

"well you can read from the card." she teasd back and my attention went back to the roses.

i took out the card in between the roses and read it softly. i quickly snapped my eyes to my mother who was nodding while smiling so big to me.

i hugged her one last time before dashing off from the hall. everyone was busy taking pictures with their parents and their friends. my eyes went wild at the crowd.

i walked down the steps and half running to the sakura tree.

there, i saw him.

a fine man dressed in black light coat, with a silver turtleneck underneath it. his hair was pushed back like the last time i remembered it.

"jung jaehyun."

without wasting more time, i ran to him. he welcomed me with his arms wide opened as i wrapped my hands around his waist.

"congratulations, shim jaerin,"

"i am beyond proud." he whispered to my ears as i wrapped myself tighter around him.

the best graduation hug i could ever asked for,

he was enough,

jung jaehyun was enough for me.

***the card***
