Me, Beldun, Lava, Zarah, Jojo, and Kuku were gathered in the main tent with a few other people. We were here for a particular reason. We had detected transmissions coming from the Boston Commonwealth. They were extremely weak and mostly garbled messes. Kuku was currently on the radio trying to get a clearer signal. But all that came through was, "th~~ is ~~l~d~n d~~s~ c~~ling f~~~ Ca~~ri~~~ Po~~ce S~at~~n. We r~~ue~t su~por~ fr~m Br~~~erh~od Of S~~el f~rc~~ in the C~~ital W~~~el~~d ~~~~" (let's see if you can figure out what that says. If you can put it in a comment. You should work together though) and the rest was just garbage. Kuku was getting visibly mad and threw the headset, "this damn piece of garbage" he said. He continued to grumble under his breath, "I suggest we make our way to Boston" I said to one of the Board members. He nodded "yes, but you six will need a planned out route" he said. Lava cleared her throat "me and Beldun have actually come up with one while Kuku was on the radio" she said. Beldun laid a map down.

He pointed at the two different states we would go through on our way there, "we're likely to only come across civilians in New York due to it not being majorly hit. Pennsylvania on the other hand had some 'secret facilities' built there so it was hit majorly. Me, Kuku, and Zarah will be fine from radiation since we're not human. Jack is immune to radiation. Lava has no immunity to it so Jack whipped up a special version of Rad-X for her. It should give her complete protection over it" he finished explaining. I pulled out a bottle of Rad-X "this is specifically made for her DNA so it will only work on her" I said before putting it away. We all left and went to prepare for the long journey ahead.
Time Jump
All five of us gathered at the main gate for Morgantown Airport. A few people had gathered to see us off but not many. After a few minutes we set off towards Pennsylvania.
Time Jump To Pennsylvania
We had been traveling all day and we finally reached some buildings. We were relieved that we had a place to settle down for the night. Our relief was short lived when we heard bullets whizzing by. We started running towards a building and I caught a quick look at a sign above the entrance. It looked like it said "-nk- mu—um" but I wasn't sure. We ducked inside and started returning fire. While I was reloading I looked around and gasped at what I saw. On a podium was an M4 Sherman Tank. I smiled "everyone look at this" I said and ran over to it. Kuku groaned "Jack we don't have tim-" but he stopped. I opened the engine panel and looked at the engine. I smiled even more "guys give me cover while I get this fecker running" I told them. They nodded and I started working on it. There wasn't much to do and soon enough it was ready and I jumped in. I pulled the choke out and pushed the ignition button. It let out a few "coughs" as it shuddered. I hit it "COME ON YOU BASTARD!" I yelled. I pushed the ignition button again and it roared to life. I heard sounds as lava got on the .50 Cal gun and began firing. After a few minutes the enemies dead or gone. I turned off the tank, "I think I'm in love" I said. Kuku laughed "when's the wedding" he jokingly asked. I laughed "I don't know but what I do know is that we just found our way through Pennsylvania" I said. Beldun nodded "well since you seem to know a lot about this tank so it seems only fit that you get to get it into working order" he said. I nodded and immediately started working on it while they set up camp and gathered supplies. About an hour later Lava came running back to me, "Jack, you might want to take a look at this" she said. I nodded and followed her to a room. What we came across was a whole assortment of pre-war military equipment. I walked over to one case that held five Sherman crew helmets (I know it might seem lucky but the Sherman Tank actually had a crew of five) and picked one up. I tossed it to Lava "here, try this on" I said. She put it on and did a mock salute "Driver Lava reporting for duty" she said. I laughed and we gathered the stuff along with a few others things.

After I told them their roles we all got some sleep to prepare for the journey through New York.
——————————————————————————— Didn't expect a tank did ya? Well there is one and let's Just say that some crazy fecker (cough cough Jack cough) made it so it runs on Standard Fusion Cores. Thus why it had trouble starting. Anyways I got the idea for this while watching Girls & Panzer (I really liked it there's an English dub on Netflix) for it. Besides that I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll start working on a new one.
