Ch.11:Our Job In The Commonwealth Isn't Finished

Jack's POV

We pulled up to the FOB to the cheers of both Minutemen and Railroad soldiers. As soon as we got out something small and yellow crashed into Jojo. She was sent to the ground and we looked to see Yana (Literally Yana is like 4' 5" tall) hugging her. I snickered before walking away. I was going to the medical station so they could make sure I wasn't seriously hurt. Before I could get there though there was the sound of yelling and laser fire. I ran towards it to see 4 Institute synths holding Jojo and Yana(They're still Together and I'm Obviously not gonna kill them off). They looked at me before disappearing in a flash of blue light. I stood in silence for a few seconds as what I just saw registered. Then something just kinda broke. I all of those emotions I had locked up broke free. I screamed from the pain and anger. Tears started falling and I dropped to my hands and knees. I felt a hand on my shoulder, "Jack! What happened" Lava asked. I looked at her "they took them" I said. She tilted her head in confusion, "who took who" she asked. I wiped the tears from my eyes, "the Institute, they took Jojo and Yana. They fecking took them. They took them and I couldn't do anything about it" I said. She sighed "Jack, you cant blame yourself. You can't protect everyone" she said. I nodded and stood up, "I already lost my family and I'm not gonna lose my friends. No, you're not friends, you're family. We will take out the Institute and get our family back" I announced. I wasn't gonna let this happen without any punishment. They can mess with me, but never my friends, never my family...
