Ch.9:The NWLR Vs. The Brotherhood. Part 1

Jack's POV, Sanctuary Hills

It had taken us a few weeks, but we had finally gotten the tanks ready and moved to Sanctuary Hills. It had relatively easy but the KV-6 was the hardest. It took almost 10 fusion cores to get it going. It was worth it though as while we were moving it we weren't bothered by anything. We got all of the tanks to Sanctuary Hills by the end of the week. We had also set up tank crews (read my 'Last "Fake Chapter" I Swear!' Part for info) and everything organized. We had set up Munitions production machines to produce tank shells and bullets. Everything was going well. I heard someone running up to me and turned to see Yana. That were breathing heavily. They stopped a few feet in front of me, "Jack... we need... you... right... now" they said between breathes. I led them to a chair and they sat down, "what is it" I asked. They just simply gestured in the direction they came from. I nodded and walked away in the direction they gestured to. I arrived to see the last thing I ever wanted to see. A vertibird with two Knights in power armor stood a few feet away from it. In front of them stood Elder Maxson. I frowned "what are you doing here Elder" I asked venomously. He smirked "hello, you must be Mr. Angel right" he asked. I nodded "now, tell me what you want" I said spitting the words out as if they were venom. He frowned "let's get straight to the point, we have noticed the certain... armor you have acquired. We demand that you hand it over. If you do not hand it over to us at the Boston Airport within the next 72 hours we will destroy all of you" he ordered. I stayed silent, my mind was screaming for me to tear him apart. I hummed "alright Elder, we will have the tanks at the airport in three days" I said. He nodded before boarding the Vertibird and leaving. Once gone I started to laugh "Jack, what the fuck was that" I heard Beldun ask. I just laughed "they have to be stupid to think we'll hand these over without a fight" I said. They all gave me a confused look as I led them to one of the buildings and we went inside. I turned on a light to reveal precise battle plans. I smiled, "these are my detailed battle plans. The Brotherhood wants to take our freedom? Well then we'll just have to take them down" I said. I started explaining how we would take the battle to them.

Two Days Later. Boston Airport

Everything was all set up. Everyone knew what they were doing. We had set up a small FOB (Forward Operating Base) around .8 Kilometers (half a mile) away from the airport. We were doing last minute preparations for the attack. We started getting into our tanks and I saw Jojo hug Yana before they got into their tank. Jojo got into our tank and Lava started it up. I picked up the radio "can everyone hear me" I asked. I got responses from Beldun, Yana, Snitch, Foxtrap, and Zarah. I hummed "all tanks forward" I commanded. All of the tanks lurched forwards as we moved towards our enemy.

A few minutes later

We arrived at the Boston Airport and I ordered all of the tanks to stay back. I whistled "hey Danni, I'm gonna go confront them. You're commander, when I give the signal fire" I told him. He nodded and I got out. I walked towards Elder Maxson who was standing at the entrance of the compound. He laughed "I didn't expect you to actually come" he said. I smiled "well I did, but probably not how you thought I would" I said. He looked confused as I raised a flare gun and pulled the trigger. I laughed "Au revoir you little fecker" I said. There were multiple bangs as the tanks fired. The Brotherhood soldiers ran around in a panic as I ran back to the tanks. I jumped in Blue Betty just as there was the rumbling of another tank. I was confused "the hell is that" I asked. Danni shrugged but my question was soon answered. Out of a hanger pulled a German Panzer IV tank. It was painted with Brotherhood colors. I gasped "all tanks, focus fire on that Panzer" I commanded. The Panzer's gun aimed in our direction and fired. Everything seemed to go into slow motion as we saw Yana's tank get hit. It immediately went silent. I hoped out of my tank and rushed over to Yana's. I pulled open a hatch and pulled them out. They were bleeding from multiple wounds "I'm.. I'm ok Jack... d-do-don't worry about me" they said. They started to drift into unconsciousness "no no no, don't you dare go to sleep Yana" I said. They laughed "don't worry Jack, it's just a little nap" they said. I shook them "if you go to sleep you might not wake up, who's gonna stop Jojo from doing stupid things" I asked. They smiled "y-you're r-right Jack... wit-without me she'll do something... something stupid" they said. We retreated back to our FOB and medics immediately started working on Yana. Jojo yelled "I'M GONNA KILL THEM" she screamed. I turned to her and gave her a look that had no emotion, "we're all gonna kill them, they messed with our friend so now we're gonna make them pay. What they've just done, well it can only be repaid in blood"
