The unnoticed one with the troubled boy (other tik tokers included)

I looked down on the floor seeing the multiple stacks of money that were laying there. 

 I looked at it once again and close the door quickly shocked by what I just saw. Mariano never told me what exactly happened but I bet it has something to do with this. I was shocked, should I call him, no I should let him come back and explain. 

How did I end up here again? oh, right I fell in love... I fell in love with the local drug dealer himself. I fell in love with him. I repeated my answer over and over again until I  realized what I was saying to myself. 

No, Julie. You can't destroy everything you have worked for your entire life of this boy. Because he will destroy it. For god's sake Julie, there is an unknown amount of money laying on the floor and you don't know why he didn't tell you about it.  

I stopped thinking and suddenly realized what I was actually thinking and got worried. Will they come after me now? Now that know where I live. Where he comes to hide. No, you have to ask. 

I wasn't going to be scared to ask when he would come back, I deserve to know. 

POV: Mariano

I felt the adrenaline going through my veins. Shit, I didn't bring it I forgot it in my jacket which is in the closet where I left it.  

I bet she already saw it. 

Mattia: Mariano, where is the money?

Mariano: Somewhere safe, I lied. 

Mattia: Good, because the boss can't find it, he will kill us both if he does without hesitation. 

It's a long story how we both got here but after my dad died he had some debts he didn't pay off. 

When I turned fifteen the boss came to my house and threatened me that he would kill the whole family even though he is blood. 

He was my dad's best friend until my dad made some promises he didn't keep. So I tried to keep my family safe and decided not to tell anyone. Mattia and I came up with a plan, later on, we could buy urself out from it. 

I have no idea how Mattia ended up there except that his mom did some stuff.  

I came back to reality after zoning out and said goodbye to Mattia and rushed back to Julie. 

POV: Julie 

I heard a car pulling to the garage and closing it. 

Of course, you walked in.  I looked at you and put up the money on the counter. 

Julie: What is this? I pointed at the money. Questioning you with a raised voice. 

Mariano: Look, Julie, I can explain. 

Julie: Then, please do because I look like an idiot not knowing what's happening and what you're doing. I look like the stupid innocent girl who accidentally fell in love with the drug dealer. 

I didn't even realize what I was saying until I finished my sentence and I was shocked by what I just said. I looked at you for a second and looked at the ground quickly. 

Why did I say that, why? I thought to myself. 

Mariano: I was shocked by the words she splurged out just said but to be honest, I fell hard for her but I can't do this to her.
