Julie's POV 

I offered Mattia to stay at my house to finish our presentation, so we went after the bell rang. We walked together and kept quiet most of the time but it wasn't an awkward silence surrounding us. 

Suddenly I heard Mattia ask me something. 

Mattia: Julie, can you answer my question? 

Julie: What? oh, I'm sorry, I didn't hear. 

Mattia: Are you coming this weekend? 

Julie: Where? 

Mattia: To Isabella's house, she's going to have a party. 

I thought about it for a second but decided to say maybe because we had a lot in school and I didn't know if I wanted to see Mariano and have awkward eye contact with him and everything. 

Julie: I don't know, we have a lot in school. 

Mattia: come on, it's going to be fun. 

Julie: Even though I doubted myself I said yes because who knows maybe Mariano isn't going to be there. 

Mattia: Well, then, should we start working. 

We studied for almost 2 hours until it became outside and Mattia said himself he had to go. 

Mattia's POV  

Julie was going to the party so I was actually going to try to make a move on her. I have liked her for a while so maybe there is a chance. But I was still doubting it because I still didn't how she knew how I hurt my leg. But I knew it had something to do with Mariano: 

Bye, Julie, I said. 

She waved and smiled back. 

It felt like I actually was being a normal teenager again. 

I was trying to get with a girl, I hung out with my friends on my free time and did other stuff like a normal teenager was supposed to do. 

But I had to ask Mariano again how she knew, or maybe I thought to myself she saw me. No, she would have helped me. Or maybe she saw the whole thing and ran away. I don't know how she knew but there is an explanation out there and I had to know it. 

Mariano's POV 

I drove back home after seeing Mattia and Julie. I was just gonna come back later and express my feelings for her. But no I couldn't I was suggesting something that I didn't know even if I was ready for. 

I should wait and see if she has the same feelings towards me that I have for her. If she says something to me first. She probably wants to take her time to figure stuff out.  

Yeah, I'm going to do that.

(Skips forward in time)

Julie's POV 

After Mattia left I just went and took a shower to wash off all of my thoughts down. But then I got to my bed and I just stared at the ceiling for a bit trying to push all of my thoughts about everything Mariano. My thoughts got pushed all the way back into my head after I finished my part of the presentation. I guess I cure my stress with homework?  

The days go by fast until it was Thursday which is my first class with Mariano in the week, I don't except anything for him but a part of me does. Like how much he likes me and that I wasn't just for entertainment or just his safe house, a toy, I guess. 

I kept my eyes at the ground like usual, I suddenly felt someone stumbling into me making all the papers that I had in my hands fall down on the floor. I quickly hear I'm so sorry. 

Julie: It's ok, don't worry, then I noticed who it was
