STEVEN: Steven James Wayward.
INTERVIEWER: And what's your relationship to Raymond Wayward?
STEVEN: Seriously?
INTERVIEWER: Again, it's for the record.
STEVEN: He's my brother. We're twins.
INTERVIEWER: Your brother Raymond has been accused of murder of the first degree. How long were you aware of this before it became public knowledge?
STEVEN: I didn't.
INTERVIEWER: Can you elaborate?
STEVEN: I didn't know my brother was a fucking murderer, is that clear enough?
INTERVIEWER: Steven, I understand this is a difficult time for you. We're just trying to get to the bottom of this.
STEVEN: [muffled] Steve.
INTERVIEWER: What?
STEVEN: I go by Steve, not Steven.
INTERVIEWER: Alright then, Steve. When was the first time you heard about what Raymond had done?
STEVEN: At the Christmas party, just like everyone else you're wasting your time interviewing. Look, I know you guys are looking into this because you're suspecting Ray didn't act on his own, that he had help or whatever. But no one else was--we didn't know about it, okay? No one in our family knew... No one knew what Ray had done.
INTERVIEWER: Okay... [Pause] Do you have any idea what his motive could have been?
[Silence]
INTERVIEWER: Steve, the sooner you answer these questions the sooner you can leave.
STEVEN: Me. He did it to protect me.
