We report live with a middle schooler being held hostage by a sludge villain.
The television buzzed in the afternoon. (Y/n) worked the night shift, so she spent all day in her crummy apartment doing nothing.
Many heroes are rushing to the scene as they try there best to save the student...
"See that's what I'm talking about! Some fucking good, top tier, quality villains, that don't get intimidated easily! God wouldn't I like to see that!" (Y/n) said to herself, alone in her apartment. In case you haven't forgotten, (Y/n) wasn't particularly scared of death. In fact stuff like villains and heroes interested her. Not that she'd ever be a villain or a hero, she just likes the logic behind being a hero or villain. Villains can get what they want, when they want it, with the only consequence being that heroes could catch them. Heroes get payed to basically beat the shit out of assholes.
'The only reason villains exist, is mostly because of heroes... so if heroes disappeared ...'
(Y/n) sat up slowly, eyes glued to the screen. Immediately getting rid of her thought bubble and focusing on something else. "How far away is that?" (Y/n) looked at the city placed on the bottom right corner. 'That's where Mom and Dad live.' (Y/n) groaned. 'I need sleep.' She turned off the television and walked to the back of her apartment room. Her bedroom was small, she slept on a twin sized mattress with a grey blanket and grey pillows. A nightstand with a small lamp, being the only source of light in the room, other than the one small window on her wall. The walls were an ugly mustard yellow and the carpet was a wine red. She had all her clothes in a bin she kept under the bed, and she'd take the bin out to choose different clothing. On the other side of her room lied a bathroom. The bathroom was tiny as well, it had a skinny shower that could barely fit herself, and a small sink and toilet. Her doors creaked, wallpaper would fall of the walls, the carpet had patches, and the room smelled of drugs. But it was (Y/n)'s home and she learned to get accustomed to it. The same way she got accustomed to everything else. Being cities away from her parents, having a dead end job, and practically getting kidnapped or threatened at least once a week.
'I need a new job.' And on that note (Y/n) almost collapsed on her bed , sleep taking over her.

A little droplet of water from the ceiling fell on to the face of a specific sleeping girl, waking her up in the process. 'Leaky roof. Great.' (Y/n)'s shift was from 11 pm to 3 am, so she had most of the day to herself. But she hated being cooped up in the hell that her landlord calls an apartment, so she set off outside just to get a bit of fresh air and say hi to the world.
She had decided to get a cab into the city to do some window shopping, which was a usual for her. She passed the time during the day anyway she could.
When she had arrived to the city, she had taken a look around. Colorful posters and buildings surrounded her. The city air was fresher than her apartment air. The city was more crowded than usual. Bright colored posters hung on the windows of the shops and mannequins with fancy clothing posed to the people walking on the sidewalks. A specific store in particular had a bunch of people surrounding it. (Y/n)'s curiosity was piqued. She took a closer look at the store and realized it was a electronics store. The people in front of it weren't there waiting for it to open or waiting for a new product to be given out. No, they were looking at a set of televisions laid out and stacked on top of each other. (Y/n) was more curious than before and she needed to know what everyone was seeing. She squeezed her way through the crowd and looked at one of the television screens. An image of a high school came on and (Y/n) could immediately identify which one it was. It's famous logo gave it away. She listened closely over the sound of people's voices to hear what it was.
After the entrance exams, we've realized that all these students are going to need more supervision. We are hiring five paid interns, one to take care of each class and help the teacher. Interviews will be open to all and held at [insert random address] . The only thing required from all applicants is a high school degree.
The television kept going but (Y/n) ignored it. That's why everyone was huddled there? For a job at U.A.? I mean that was definitely a coincidence for her to think about getting a new job and for that to just pop out of the blue. Maybe it was fate? Most likely not, but she'd like to think so. She spent the rest of the day window shopping and thinking about the paid internship. U.A. is definitely a place that would pay a pretty penny, but the chances of her getting in are highly unlikely, but why not give it a shot? She was going to try out for the job even though she knew the chance of getting it was extremely low.
