| February 2022 - The Meteorite, is officially given its identity with the appointed name of "Vendetta", a few hours after its initial discovery at the Arnold Horten Space Observatory in Hallevort, Vermont. The Scientist & Astronomer at the Observatory, William Benedict Harris, the man responsible for the meteors' discovery is given the honorable distinction of attaching a name to the meteor for historical records and reference.

| April 2022 - The White House aids the United Nations Security Council and employs NASA to collaborate in a joint effort to produce a comprehensive and fully-realized World Contingency Plan and to enact the Global Initiative & Space Deployment of Meteor Defense mission statement.

| July 2022 - In the West Wing of The White House, The President of the United States, President Barnes with his Secretary of Defense Ken Garwood, joined by a few key members from Congress and numerous representatives of the United Nations Security Council, alongside a group of high-ranking officials at NASA hold a live press conference, televised to the world where they officially unveil the details behind the 'World Contingency Plan'.

Following the press conference, the announcement of the 'Global Initiative & Space Deployment of Meteor Defense' is made inside the Oval Office. The Bill is quickly passed by Congress and approved, then signed by President Barnes live during the President's Address to the Nation, the 10 minute-long speech President Barnes delivers vaguely describes the operation and acknowledges that the following day the plans set forth will have officially commenced, entering the early stages of what would be classified as phase 1 of 3, as they publicly reveal to the world the blueprints of the assembly of the space shuttle, the G-1, built to the precise specifications specifically tailored for the mission.

After the Presidents' Address concludes, another press conference immediately follows and is quickly held on the West Lawn of The White House, where President Barnes and Defense Secretary Ken Garwood announce the recruitment and introduce the 8 men and 4 women that make up the carefully selected group of individuals representing the rescue mission members that will consist of Team H.O.P.E., short for "Humanity's Offensive Protecting Earth".

| October 2022 - The construction of the space shuttle, the G-1, is hastily completed at the tail end of the month. Members of Team H.O.P.E. are put through an extensive and intense 2-week training program.

| November 2022 - Team H.O.P.E. and it's shuttle, the G-1, are deployed into space to thwart the arrival of the meteorite. The shuttle utilizes a highly-advanced technology guidance and propulsion system.

| March 2023 - The United Nations Security Council & NASA are blatantly absent at the White House for the President of the United States live press conference & address to the nation.

| September 2023 - The White House holds its last press conference, which isn't held live and is pre-taped with the Vice President, George Lowell. Only a handful of reporters are allowed to attend and the omission of President Barnes' absence from this pre-taped conference is glaringly obvious. World morale begins to drop steadily.

| January 2024 - All Branches of Government have been operating under the 'state-of-emergency' mandate for exactly 1 calendar year. Just after a few days into the New Year, the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of Government create a modest diversion by implementing a supposedly week-long 'black out' period to, in effect, temporarily shut-down each branch to formally reshuffle and reorganize operations, relocate federal documents and important assets and then relaunch Government operations in new undisclosed locations, adhering to strict safety regulations and restrictions.

Public skepticism and suspicions grow exponentially and then reach a boiling fever-pitch when its revealed that the branches of Government didn't appear to be 'relaunching' or even 'reopening'.

By month's end, unproven rumors had spread and public opinion believed that all branches of Government had covertly dissolved and ceased operating completely! The biggest and most glaring omission in the preceding weeks being the blatant absence of any running or operating organized law & order within the United States, The U.S. Government had quietly, disgracefully shut down and dissolved altogether, with no clear indications of it ever returning!

| April 2024 - Acts of violence surge! Looting of homes and businesses becomes rampant!!
