Poem #1

The sky may be blue
As blue as the ocean.
But really,
In my world the sky is grey.
Like a mess of paints.
And the smile on my face just melts away.
No one can see this world that I'm in.
No one can see it.
Except,
The people in it as well.

Poem #2

If you could see the pain it causes me

For you to walk away,

You would stay with me for eternity,

And you would be my life.

I fell so hard when I first saw your eyes

Brown as a bar of chocolate,

But you couldn't feel the same towards me,

Because for you it was forbidden.

I wish we could be together,

Holding each other in our arms,

But it just can't be,

For you cannot be with me.

Poem #3

Hope,
Hope is what we hope to have.
Hope is what keeps us going when reality bashes us over the head.
But hope is nothing if we don't have faith...

Faith keeps us believing,
We believe when everything points to the opposite.
Faith can be as strong as steel,
Yet it can break as easily as glass.

No one can tell the meaning in these words
But if hope can hear me,
I just want to say,
Now I have faith.

Poem #4 - Scars

Every scar, or scratch on my body,
eventually fades,
But the scars on my heart and my soul,
They're different.
They hang around for centuries.

The scars on my skin,
They are merely indications,
Indications of what pain my soul,
Had to go through.

But even they are not enough to show my pain.

Poem #5 - Alone?

It hurts to be alone...
Without a friend...
Standing in the big wide world.

But everything changes,
It changes when someone is by your side.
You can conquer the world.

Standing here alone...
Will anyone conquer the world with me?
Will anyone stand by my side?
If you do,

Realize,

I am grateful.

Poem #6 - Love

In my heart and soul, it feels so right

In my arms and legs, it keeps them pumping

In my mouth and eyes, it keeps them smiling.

What on gods green earth could make me feel this way?

Love.

Love keeps me going when I want to quit.

Love keeps me from crying until I cant.

Love carries me when I can't walk alone.

Alone.

Scared.

What to do?

Love.

Love banishes fear.

Love abolishes Loneliness.

How?

No one knows.

But it can

So take it.

Live your life.

Feel the love.

Poem #7

You could scream,

You could cry,

You could curse the world,

Who's being so unfair

Or

You could get up.

Fight back.

Live your life, through all the obstructions

Run your world.

Don't let the world run you.

Poem #8 - Why?

Why do I cry?
Why does the crow fly?
How come the rain falls?
It's endless calls...

Why the river flows,
Why the peoples loathe.
Where the sun shines,
Where I can be mine.

So?
Why do I cry?
The sun,
The moon,
They may never show...
Not a knowing eye.

Poem #9

The sun shines,
The birds fly
The clouds...
A simple wisp.

Happy.

Changes.

The sun obscured
Birds hide,
The clouds...
They pour.

Tears fall
Weights grow ever heavier
Breathing fails
Pain spikes through.

What to do?

Welcome.
Welcome the pain.
Welcome the overwhelming force
Let it wash over you
Ride the wave
Don't try to hide.
Don't ignore.
The sun will shine again.

Some of these are really dumb. Some of what you would see in the future is really dumb, but it's my place for thoughts. At least the ones that escape my brain and eyes.
