The Best Solution

When you're in front of me,
I can't think of anything to say,
I just stand and stutter as you let me be,
and I only watch as you walked away,

My mind started having horrible thoughts,
Went to a bar to find myself taking shots,
Just to forget the times we fought,
Just to forget the problems you've brought,

Now that you're an arm length away,
But when I asked you to stay,
My life never felt so gray,
When I knew what you would say,

Walking by the sea of memories,
Asking my everlasting question,
Why did I even let you leave me?,
Then I realized it was the best solution.
