Hidden Agenda

Third Person

"She's going to be fine, right?" Naninigurong tanong ni Louie sa doktor na nasa loob ng kwarto ni Louisse.

"As of now I can't say that she's fine, she lost a lot of blood. She needs blood transfusion immediately but after that, I can say that she'll be fine." Sabi ng doktor kay Louie at nanatili sa kwarto. Lumabas naman si Louie sa kwarto.

"Where the fuck should I get Rh negative blood?" Sabi nito sa kanyang isip.

Napabuntonghininga si Louie habang hinihilot ang sentido nito.

"Well, time to make a call."

Louie took out his phone from his pocket and dialed someone's number.

After a few rings a man with a baritone voice answered the phone.

"What's up my man?"

"I need one of those." He pause for a second. "The same ones."

He heard the man on the other line chuckled. "Alright. It'll cost you an arm and leg."

"Deal. 8 of it and I want it now. She needs that right now."

"Hmmkay. Be there in an hour."

Then the line died.

Just like the man said to Louie, he arrived an hour later, with the blood that he needs of course.

Binigay niya ang dugo sa mga doktor at sinimulan na nila ang blood transfusion kay Louisse.

"That will be 5 million dollars for 8 packs of Rh negative blood." The man said in a calm tone.

Louie fish out his check and write the exact numbers and sign it.

"Hmm. We don't accept checks anymore." Napatigil si Louie sa sinabi ng lalaki.

"Why not?" He ask with a frown on his face.

The man grin. "I just don't feel like it."

"Fuck you man." Louie said while showing his middle finger to the man. "I'll wire you the money later."

The man laugh and left.

"Asshole." Sabi ni Louie sa utak niya.

Napalingon siya sa pinto ng ICU ng marinig niyang bumukas ito, pero wala naman siyang nakitang tao na lumabas.

"Maybe someone went in? A nurse perhaps?"

Binalewala niya nalang ito at naglakad na palayo sa pwesto niya kanina at naupo sa isa sa mga bakanteng upuan ng ospital.

Someone

Pinasok ko na ang isang kwarto na kinalalagyan niya tulad ng utos sakin ni boss.

"Squeeze it harder nurse. Marami pa tayong ilalagay."

"Yes doc."

Yun ang narinig ko mula sa mga taong nasa loob at pinagbabaril silang lahat tulad ng utos sakin.

Nakita ko ang puti nila uniporme ay dali daling naging pula galing sa mga dugo nila.

5 shots in the head and I didn't even blink when I pull the trigger.

Minataan kong tiningnan ang pasyente na kasulukuyang binablood transfusion at binaril ang nakasabit na blood pack at tumalsik ang laman sa paligid.

Now this looks like a fucking crime scene.

"Make sure to leave evidence and make the place look like a bloodbath."

Nilagay ko ang baril sa kamay ng pasyente at syempre hindi naman ako tanga para makalimutan ang fingerprints sa baril, that's why I wore gloves and I even dress up as a doctor, so to finish the final touches I wore gloves.

I pity this patient. Ano ba'ng ginawa ng taong 'to para magalit ng husto si boss sa kanya?

Oh well. No questions asked, dapat patayin ko na siya.

Nilabas ko ang swiss knife galing sa lalagyan nito at giitin na sana ang leeg nito ng tumunog ang isang parang siren.

"Code blue, code blue. ICU code blue. Code blue, code blue. ICU code blue."

Fuck!

Dali dali na akong tumakbo at dumaan sa fire exit. Buti nalang at di pa nakarating ang mga doktor at nurse.

Hinubad ko na ang robe, mask, surgical hairnet at gloves at nilagay ito sa isang plastic cellophane at nilagay sa likod ng sasakyang ginamit ko.

Boss will kill me.

Napatayo ako bigla at kinusot ang mga mata ko. Nakaidlip pala ako.

"Code blue, code blue. ICU code blue. Code blue, code blue. ICU code blue."

"Tabi! Tabi! Tumabi kayo! Isang itong emergency! Tabi!" I blink twice and realization hit me.

Fuck si ate!
