"How?" I asked in irritation.

"What how, Princess?"

"This."

"What this?"

"Oh come on. Don't play around. How did you get my number?"

"I have sources." The caller reply, obviously wearing a grin at the moment.

"You do everything to irritate me, do you?"

"Not really. But I do find you amusing when you're mad." Vincent chuckled.

"What? Are you some stalker now?" I asked again.

"Not really. I just got it from a girl - the one you're always with. The brunette chic. What's her name again? It's something like Marlee. Is it Marlee or-"

I huffed, "It's Mary, thank you very much. That girl's a traitor for a friend."

"Yeah, that's it. Mary. So, how are you, Princess?" He said, emphasizing a word I despised.

"Stop calling me that and what's up with you calling me late at night? Cut off the excuses, Hewey." I narrowed my eyes, even though I'm invisible to him.

"Well, I was wondering if you could tutor me on Friday - that'll be two days from now 'cause tomorrow, I've got practice." he answered.

"What about... No."

"Don't be mean. I'm not good at Physics and Math, Rianne!"

"You call me by my name when you need something from me? Is that fair?" I replied meanly.

He sighed on the phone. "Come on. I'll date you to the promenade if you help me."

My eyes widened. He thinks that it's a fair trade? No way! He has no idea how I hate promenades or parties. Not to mention, gowns and dresses. Creepy.

"Just to let you know, I hate those kinds of thingys." I answered.

"Are you a girl?" he teased.

"I'm warning you, Vincent."

He laughed quietly, "I was joking!"

"Not a funny joke you got there. Anyway, I won't tutor you. And FYI, I am not a nerd nor a geek. I only have B's. Sometimes C's. I'm a half prankster." I explained.

He snorted, "At least you don't have D's like me."

"Too bad for you, then. It takes a lot of hard work." I said proudly, even though I was lazy too.

"Oh really? You know what, you're too hot to be a B student." he replied seductively. He has got to be kidding me.

I knew I blushed. I quickly responded, "You jerk!"

His embarrassing and irritating remarks with a combination of his teasing continued for like 10 minutes. Even though he made me feel ashamed and all, I find the whole time fun as I kept on laughing.

I guess I've missed laughing for quite a time now.

We were both laughing at his joke about my hair when someone started knocking on our door.

"I think mom's home. Gotta go now, see you tomorrow then?" I said while smiling widely. Good thing he's not here to see me with blushes all over my cheeks.

"Yeah, I guess. Thanks for the talk. So, tutor me on Friday?" He asked.

Oh, I forgot that. Well, it wouldn't be bad... right?
