The next morning the warehouse that Kiki and Davis fell asleep in was quite chilly. The place had no AC or heater so it was the same temperature as the outside temperature. Kiki had apparently gotten up during the middle of the night and somehow carried Davis to her bedroom. When Davis woke up he found himself on Kiki's bed, sitting up and looking around Davis yawns. He looks around for Kiki and sees her asleep on a pile of what looked like a bunch of alien stuffed animals covered by a single blanket. Smiling a bit Davis looks at her then looks away and quietly packs up his stuff and sneaks out. Davis didn't want to get Kiki involved in his troubles. As soon as Davis steps outside he is blasted by a wave of freezing air. Davis looks
around the area completely unsure of where he was going. The streets of the city were eerily silent. There was not a soul on the streets and it appears that all the buildings were locked up tight and barged up too. Davis walked around the empty streets, the streets were covered in what looked like a thin frost and ice. On the frost both on the ground and the walls there was footprints that looked like ones that the beast that attacked Davis earlier, but Davis continues to explore. As he explored the desolate streets Davis could see something in the distance, it seemed like there was something there and that it had some kind of cloaking mechanism. Davis stops and stares at the figure. It seemed to start to move towards Davis and as it did new footprints are made in the ground. It was one of the beasts and it getting ready to attack Davis. "Shit..." Davis said quietly and slowly backs up. The beast didn't stop like it did for Kiki. Davis quickly turns around and starts to run. The beast was much faster than Davis and quickly caught up to him and tackles him to the ground and it about to tear him limb from limb, but before it could Davis hears what sounds like a loud and powerful gunshot and then feels the back of his head get covered in the beast's green and thick blood. Someone had shot the beast's head causing it to explode and killing the beast. It's dead corpse collapsed to the ground pinning Davis underneath. Thinking it was Kiki that saved his life again Davis looks around with the best of his ability after wiping the goo off his face. Instead of seeing Kiki's face Davis sees two cop like figures stepping out of a hovering cop car. One of the cops was an alien, not like Kiki though, he seemed to have natural armor and he was big and bulky. He was holding an alien looking sniper rifle, the barrel was still smoking from the shot that had killed the beast. The other cop was a human in his mid thirties.
"Kid" said the human cop "What the hell are you doing out right now? You know it's against the law, right?"
"I-" Davis tries to defend himself, but is rudely interrupted.
"They never learn. After the Harrison accident you'd think that they would stay inside." the alien cop says sighing before walking over to Davis and picks up the beast and pushes it off Davis and puts Davis' hands behind his back then put handcuffs on his hands "Stand up" The cop says. After Davis stands up the cop puts him in the back of the patroller and closes the door.
"HEY WAIT WHAT DID I DO?!" Davis yells. The alien cop gets into the passenger seat, but Davis can't hear a thing. The back must have been sound proof because no matter what Davis says the cops don't even seem to hear what Davis says. After about five minutes Davis finally gives up and sits back and looks out the window. The car was definitely floating above the ground. As the car flew over the streets more beast slowly appear on the streets. After about ten minutes the car pulls into the police station and the cops get out and the alien cop takes Davis out and leads him to what seems like a processing area. The handcuffs seem to break and Davis' hands are released, but the two rings remain around his wrists. Electromagnetic handcuffs, smart. As Davis is forced into the processing room a flying bot flies over to Davis. With it's thin arms grabs Davis' right arm and seems to scan it after a few second it checks

Davis' other arm. After it seems to get annoyed after not finding something it grabs Davis by the collar and drags him over to a full body scanner. A sound of failure buzzes and the Robot angrily flies to Davis again and and pulls him into a side room. Davis is seated in a chair and the handcuffs activate and hold Davis' hands to his sides. In Front of Davis was a glass window and a new much taller alien enters and sits down and looks at Davis.
"The scanners show you have no chip. Why? Don't even think about lying. I've heard everything." the alien says and looks at Davis with a cold stare.
"I..I..What? Chip? What do you mean?" Davis says confused.
"Playing idiot huh?" The alien says and writes something down on a piece of paper. "Kid I'll give you one more chance. Where's, Your, Chip?" He says annoyed.
"I don't know what your talking about!" Davis shouts
The alien raises an eyebrow. Before sighing. "Whatever kid" He says before the cuffs release and the glass goes black and the robot from earlier pulls Davis out of the room and injects something into Davis' arm. After it does it pulls Davis to a holding cell and locks him in. The cell was small, but kinda cozy. It even had a small TV.
"Wow the world has really changed... I'm pretty sure jail cells don't have TVs, but I could always be wrong. Never been to jail before" Davis looks around and spots a remote and grabs it and turns on the TV and flips through the channels. A few hours pass and the robot opens the door.
"Your free to go" the bot says and Davis stands up and the robot takes off the handcuff rings and leads Davis to the front office. At the front stood Kiki looking very, very upset. She had her arms crossed and her skin was a dark red now. She silently grabs Davis' arm and drags him outside. The streets were no longer covered in frost and ice. It was now a thriving city and all the shops were open and the city was alive. Kiki pulls Davis over to a speeder like virchile and gets on.
"Get. On." Kiki stays firmly and angrily. Davis slowly walk over and gets on and Kiki turns on the speeder. It floats up into the air and Kiki drives back to her home. After the two arive Kiki drags Davis inside and as soon as they're inside Kiki slaps Davis. "WHAT THE HELL?!" she yells angrily. After a few seconds she sigh. "Listen, The City goes through a freezing cycle every night and when it does those beasts come onto the city. It's been made Illegal to go outside at night and in the mornings, at least until the frost melts, BUT THAT'S NO EXCUSE FOR LEAVING WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING!" Kiki yells. The anger is almost radiating from her. Davis could see tears already rolling down Kiki's eyes. Davis looks down. He did leave suddenly and without saying anything. He had no defence he had seriously screwed up and didn't say anything.

"I'm sorry...." Is all Davis could muster up.
Kiki stares at Davis, but after a few seconds sighs again. A puff of smoke exits her mouth as she sighs and her skin slowly turns back to her original skin color, a light purple. "I'm sorry too, for hitting you that is. I know I can be crazy and all over the place... why do you think I'm alone here?" Kiki says quietly and hugs herself. Tears start to roll down her cheeks and her skin turns a deep blue. Starting to feel worse Davis takes a step forward, but before he could say anything Kiki runs off to her room. Davis stands there and watches. Davis was never a very big people person, mainly because of his mom. Davis stands there for a moment or two before slowly looking around the place. Spotting Kiki's computer he slowly walks over to it and sees that the last thing Kiki was doing was when she was tinkering with Davis' PITT Device. Before what had happened Kiki had apparently made a copy of all the files on the his device. The thought that Ada might still be somewhere in the files made Davis a bit happier. Davis got the laptop out of his bag and opened it and grabbed a USB and searched for about 5 minutes for a place to plug it in. After eventually finding one Davis plugged it in and downloaded all the files for the PITT device onto it. When it finally finished downloaded Davis removed the UBS and put it into the laptop. He then proceeds to move away from Kiki's computer and sit in a conner. After about an hour of going through each file to find Ada's code Davis finally finds it and opens it and starts the program.
"Program starting up, Searching for body, No body detected, Searching for outputs, Screen detected, Speakers detected, Searching for Inputs. Camera detected, Microphone detected, Testing Inputs and Outputs, Tests successful. Starting AI." the computer says. After a few seconds of silence a 3D model of a Woman appears on screen. Ada.
"H..huh?" a familiar voice says. "Ada!" Davis says excitedly.
"Davis? ERROR! ERROR!" Ada says. "Ada? Are you alright?" Davis asks
"Yeah ju-ERROR-st a few errors. I will diagnose these errors and get back to- Error -you in a few hours." the program closes and the laptop goes silent. Sighing softly Davis sets the laptop down and looks around. After thinking for a few minutes Davis slowly gets up and walks to Kiki's room and knocks on her door. After a few seconds of silence Davis opens her door and peaks in. Looking around Davis sees Kiki in the pile of stuffed animals. Davis slowly enters the room and sits by the plush pile.
"Kiki?" Asked Davis "Davis?" Kiki responds

"Are you okay? He asks
"No..." She responds
"Well uhh... umm.." He says quietly
The room goes silent for what seemed like an entirety. Davis finally speaks up again "I'm sorry... You seemed like a really nice person... alien... I just didn't want to get you involved...." Davis says before he digs himself into the pile and hugs Kiki. "you said you were alone...Do you want to talk about it?"
"As a kid my parents died or abandoned or something...anyways I was put in an orphanage... I spent most of my life there until I ran away. I found this place. I made this my home and I've been alone since. I was so happy to meet you. I thought this might be my chance to have someone to be friends with..." Kiki says. Davis holds her close and she slowly stops crying.
"I'm so sorry.... In a sense I can relate my Mom was never a good person. And My dad..." Davis says and looks down at her. "Can you ever forgive me?" He changes the subject.
"Yeah..." Kiki says.
They go silent and so does the world around them.
