It would be a cold winter day as you stood in front of  a small gravestone. You would be dressed in a black pea coat dress with a black beanie and black tights. you would also have on black winter boots to match.

A single tear would make its way down your cheek as you stared at the grave with a blank stare, showing no emotion. You would be thinking back to the times when life was easier. when you could just sit back and give a hoot less about the world.

But now...things were much tougher. You were a full grown adult, having to fend for yourself out there. with no one else to stand by your side.

You weren't really the type to have friends and your parents had recently passed away, as they were the only ones you were close to. So you felt alone. So very alone...

You had a hard time connecting with people, as most past relationships you had been in failed. The other person may have used you, or jut been straight up abusive. especially the one you had just been in, with a man named Jack.

He was most likely the worst person you had ever dated, as he was straight up mentally abusive. He made you question your self worth, eventually leading you to pull together enough strength to leave him. Sadly, this relationship left you with a mental scar.

❝Never, ever let anyone get close to you...❞

Eventually you would fall out of the trance you had put yourself in, making your way out the graveyard. You would continue to walk your way around town.

You would look around at the rest of the small town you lived in, seeing how happy and joy filled the streets seemed to be. It left you feeling more empty inside than you already were.

You would continue walking until you reached your destination, home. Once the young adult made there way up to there door, they would pull out a small key, it being silver. You would put it into the key hole, turning the knob and opening the door to an apartment that was decently sized. there would be boxes all around as you were packing up your belongings. You would be moving soon, out of this small town and into the big city. Not all things were as bad as they seemed, as you had found a new job out there. That's why you were moving.

A week.

That was how long You would have to wait until you got the chance to move, or at least that's how long you had to wait. it was going to be nice being able to live somewhere new...
