You woke up with a jolt, as your alarm just went off. It was Monday, and your first day on the job at this new veterinarian clinic.
The place you would be working at would be a new place on the outskirt of town, you being one of the head vets there. So of course, it being your first day, you wouldn't want to be late. You groggily pulled yourself up and out of your once comfortable place on your bed. You drug yourself towards the walk in closet you had, turning on the light. You would pick out your work outfit, which consisted of a nice light purple tunic and pants to match. it also had a white doctors coat which would have an id badge on it for the place you were working at.
The badge would have a picture of you on it, as it was a picture that had been recently taken. It also had other significant information on it.
You made your way to the bathroom, taking a nicely timed shower and then doing your hair. you put it up into a bun, so if you had to deal with blood or other bodily fluids from animals, you wouldn't have it in your hair.
After all of that you brushed your teeth, and went downstairs to make breakfast. You made yourself a small cup of black tea. You put a little honey in the tea as you liked it that way. You also made some bacon and eggs, a common yet tasty choice of breakfast food. When you finished the meal, you would put your dishes in the sink, washing them and then putting them in the dish washer. You were a neat freak, so of course you kept your house looking nice.
You put on your winter coat as you were just about ready to head out the door. You picked up your purse, put on your dark grey nikes, and you went to your car, and off you went to work. On your way there, there would be many things to see and pass by, like large buildings, people walking their dogs. and many other miscellaneous things. Also, you took note that you should leave out earlier than you had to get there, as you were almost late to work.
By the time you got there it was 7:56 a.m., so you had little time to get your things together and get into the building so you could check in. When you pulled yourself out f your warm car, you shivered at the sudden change in temperature. Usually, the cold didn't bother you, but for some reason it did. Anyways, you made your way up to the door, opening it to a quiet pleasant scene.
The floors were made of laminated wood and the walls were a light brown. the lady at the front desk seemed to busy with paper work, and the front desk had this cute little cat stature. You would walk to the desk, saying "Uhm, hello?" In a gentle voice, which got a reaction from the lady. She would look up at you, who stood in front of you. She gave you a smile.
"Oh, Hello, deary, how may I help you?" The older woman said, messing with her shoulder length blonde hair. She had pale skin and icy blue eyes.
"I'm here to sign in," You spoke, still peering over the desk at the woman, as she nodded.
"Your name hun?" she said in a sweet voice. Looked at her computer, typing something in.
"Uh...Helianthus. (Y/N) Helianthus," You answered, making the woman look back up at you quickly.
"Oh! That might explain why i haven't seen you around here at all. You must be the new vet they were talking about, Nice too meet you Miss Helianthus" She said, a smile on her face all the while. This made you smile. You were feeling very welcome here already, even though it was your first day...
