Chapter 5: Jocelyn's Ring?

So I went on the bus and the bus driver gave me a note. Let me guess, my secret admirer. Does he really think a bus driver giving me a note is romantic cause if he does he is w-r-o-n-g, wrong. I read the note quietly:
Dear Haddi,
I can't stop thinking about you.
So I got you this ring. I hope
You were this.

There was this film canister tied to the note with a red ribbon. I opened it and inside was Jocelyn's ring. Where did he get this? I was so confused. And does he expect me to were it the next day, cause if so gonna happen. I looked back at the note and there was more:

We're the jacket, and the ring tomorrow.

I am definitely, positively, never in my life I am ever gonna do this. Why does he even want me to do this. When I got home I looked at my moms phone to text Kaitlin. But there was an unread text message from a phone number I didn't recognize. I read it all it said was hello? I texted back saying the same thing and he texted back immediately. Saying:
"Who is this?"
"Haddi." I know it is kinda breaking the whole don't talk to strangers rule but I might actually find out who it is.
"Hi Haddi"
"Who is this?"
"I can't tell you"
"Why?"
"I am scared"
"Of what?"
"What you might think"
"Think of what"
"Think of who I am and what I am giving you"
"Look, I gotta go"
So I went to school the next day and Jocelyn come up to me and is actually nice.
"Hey Haddi what's up"
"Apparently your personalty"
"Last night I realized I was being a big jerk"
"What do you want"
I know Jocelyn and she never is just nice to some one when she is really mean.
"Oh nothing yeah want my rose ring back"
"I don't have it"
"Oh I know you do"
"How"
"Yesterday my bus was next to yours and I saw you through my window"
"Gee I thought that a girl like you would have a better ride than a public bus"
"Whatever"
And again the hair flip.
