The rest of the year I tried to avoid Simon the best I could. Jocelyn was surprisingly getting nicer to me but I think she's only doing that because she wants me to date Simon. I keep on telling her it's never in a million years going to happen. If I ever end up dating Simon I swear I would pull out my hair and shove it down my throat just to keep my self from talking. Okay may that was a little over dramatic. I made it to the last week of school. The class was watching a movie based on Joseph in Religion class. All of the homerooms in 6th grade came to my homeroom. Simon and his best friend Paul sat next to each other behind me were Simon sat in homeroom. I was eavesdropping on their conversation. All I heard was Paul whispering to Simon saying did you ask her yet. I was assuming that he was talking about me. Was he going to ask me if I like him or if I will go out with him. What I'm I going to do? Then I herd Simon whispering to me
"Haddi"
No response
"Haddi" he whispered a little louder this time
"What!?!"
"Do you hate me?" Still whispering
" I-I don't know!"
"Why aren't you talking to me?"
"Shhhhhh! Now watch the movie"
I was eavesdropping again hearing Simon saying told ha to Paul.
