I went to school and Simon was handing out valentines. It was right when everyone came in. There's a coat room in the back of the classroom and everyone puts their backpack there too. I was in there with everyone else and Simon walked up to me said "Happy Valentines Day!" I looked what was in the bag, candy like everyone else's and there was a gold box in it also. I shoved it in my backpack and went to my seat. Simon was already in his seat (no surprise there). I sat down and he asked if I opened it yet and I said no. It seemed Simon raced down to the classroom to get his books and waited for me just to ask me if I opened the present yet and of course I said no. It was 5th hour which was Religion class for 7th grade. I asked if I could go to the bathroom and when I walked out I saw my best friend, Amy. I had already told her what had happened but not what happened this morning which now was the chance to.
"Simon got me a present."
"Simon got you a present?"
"Simon got me a present!"
"Simon got you a present!!"
"Did you open it yet?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I don't know I just haven't!"
"Well, go get it!"
"Ok!" I ran inside the coat room grabbed the bag and ran out. We both went to the bathroom where I opened it. There were two necklaces in the box. Bit were pandas but one had devil ears and a red tail. The other one had a halo and wings. Unfortunately they were nothing like I had wanted.
"I don't know what to say?" I said
" I don't either"
I left. I went back to the classroom and sat down. Guess who asked me a question, yep Simon asked me if I opened the gift yet. I nodded. "Did you like it?" I nodded again.
