Chrismas Special

"Yeah.... ok."
"Sure!"

I leaned against the side of Dad's throne. Shelby smacked my arm and grinned wildly. Mettaton stood dramatically in front of us.

He led us out of the castle and up the mountain, nearly to the top. He raised a microphone and bellowed a welcoming as if the whole world was watching. A ghost camera crew danced around us.

I waved at one and it zoomed in. I feel a family connection! I looked at Shelby her eyes were sparkling like the snow that drifted from the sky and if I hadn't gone through Snowdin I'd be worried for our health.

Our kingdom underneath us was littered with lights sparkling in the darkening sky and white du- snow fluttering down to the earth.

Shelby put a microphone to her lips, hooked an arm with mine and Mettaton announced us as "my guest stars today are our Royal Ambassadors!"

I smiled and waved not daring to say a word. But Shelby, she was too excited not too. Her signature "Hello!" Squeaked through the speakers. I grinned and chuckled.

Mettaton backed off and we began caroling.
"Up on the housetop click click click. Down through the chimney comes old saint nick."

"Sleigh bells ring, are you listening. In the lane snow is glistening. A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland."

"Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we,
We're snuggled up together like two birds of a feather should be. Let's take the road before us and sing a chorus or two come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you."

"God rest ye merry gentlemen let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ our savior was born on Christmas day. To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray. Oh tidings of comfort and joy. Comfort and joy."

Eventually the whole city could be heard singing with us. Even from the top of our old home. I grinned and looked at Shelby her hair bounced around her as she danced and sang.

"Did you know, that your baby boy has walked where Angels tried. When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face if go-d. Mary, did you know?"

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go. Take a look at the five and ten, it's glistening once again with candy canes and silver lanes that glow!"

"Hark how the bells,
Sweet silver bells,
All seem to say
Throw cares away.

Christmas is here bringing good cheer
To young and old, meek and the bold.

Ding dong ding dong, that is their song.
With joyful ring all caroling."

"Si-lent night, ho-ly night. All is calm, all is bright."

"Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree, however green your branches."

"You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, and Cupid, and Donder, and Blitzen. But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?"

"RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER!" Sly screamed completely out of harmony.
"REINDEER!" Jose and Steven echoed.
"HAD A VERY SHINY NOSE!" Sly screamed.
"Like a light bulb?" Jose and Steven shrugged.
"AND IF YOU EVER SAW IT!" Sly continued.
"SAW IT!" Jose and Steven echoed.
"YOU WOULD EVEN SAY IT GLOWS!" Sly continued.
"LIKE A LIGHT BULB!" everyone screamed.

"Heheh, ALL OF THE OTHER REINDEER!" Sly chuckled.
"REINDEER!" Steven and Katz fist bumped the air as if it was a victory to say "reindeer".
"USED TO LAUGH AND CALL HIM NAMES!" Sly and PBat screamed at the top of their lungs.
"LIKE PINOCCHIO!" Kala added.
"THEY NEVER LET POOR RUDOLPH!" Sly slammed his hands on his knees.
"RUDOLPH!" Katz, Aphmau, Castor and Sushix echoed.
"JOIN IN ANY REINDEER GAMES!" Sly sing loudly.
"Like Reindeeropily!" Jess and Katz winked at each other.

"Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say," Aphmau sung bouncing lightly.
"HO HO HO!" Katz, Kala and Steven yelled.
"Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Jess sung giggling.
"Then how the reindeer loved him!" Jess sung happily.
"LOVED HIM!" Sly and Steven echoed her.

"As they shouted out with glee!"
"YIPEE!" they all screamed.
"RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER!" Aph and Sly sung/screeched.
"REINDEER!" The rest screamed.
"YOU'LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY!!" Sly and Aphmau finished.
"LIKE GEORGE WASHINGTON!!" All but Castor and Kala screamed.

"Like Abe Lincoln." They both chanted making intense eye contact with the others as they burst into hysterical laughter.

Meanwhile, their students huddled in their rooms desperately covering their ears to stop the growing headache that their councilors were inducing.

And they all lived happily ever after~.
