AJ: now that I think about what's with characters like you guys fighting gods or god-like beings. you and Luigi have done it, Kirby is popular for doing it, sonic does it, and even Bomberman has done it. and yet you guys struggle with way less later or earlier.
Mario: it's the beauty of being a video game character that doesn't take itself seriously. we follow no logic but our own or gameplay logic.
