ep 18; missing roo✨

A week later..

Minho stood next to Lucas, the both boys staring at the blonde young man. "So, this is all she needs. Please make sure if you take her on a walk, out her leash on," Jonghyun continued to blabber on about the rules of taking care of his precious beloved dog.

"Why do you want us to take care of her again?", the forgetful boy asked. "Lucas, Kibum and I need our time alone. After all, we have a date going on~", he said with a singing tone. Lucas just kept staring at him without blinking.

Minho pet Roo's fur and smiled. "I'll make sure to take good care of her, Jonghyun," he bowed while looking down at the doggie. "Great, I'll see you in a bit," Jonghyun smiled, grabbed his coat, and walked out. Lucas smirked at Minho and kept staring. They stayed like that for about 3 minutes.

"Lucas.. Why are you staring at me?"

"There's a party, so we can just walk the dog and leave it outside when we arrive," Lucas was proud of his brilliant but stupid plan, which later got ruined. "No, I have to get Taemin a gift. He's getting out of the hospital soon. Besides, it's almost Christmas~", Minho sang. Lucas rolled his eyes and mocked him.

"..." no comment.

Roo barked and tugged on her leash. "Roo, you wanna go for a walk?", Minho baby talked her and received a tail wag. He attached the collar to the lease, putting her vest on first. Roo's paw hit the ground and the ground hit Roo's paw, it made her really happy to be out and walking. Thank god she was a mature dog or else Lucas would freak out if she wasn't.

Everything was going as planned but this group of shady ass guys approached them and just stared at the two men with a beautiful dog. They just continued walking and decided to stop by to get something to eat but noticed that Roo was gone! Her leash had become undone.. oh boy, how Jonghyun would kill them. They've just lost a professional boxer's precious dog who is like a child to him.

"I-It was those guys! Did you see how they were looking at us?" Lucas stuttered and looked around to see if any of the shady guys were there, stalking them down as their prey. Minho frowned and knew exactly what to do first. Lucas also did but his was a little different.

Lucas' plan: beat those guys up and get the dog back.

Minho's plan; kindly ask for Roo back.

"What? This yo cuh?", the short boy asked and eyed Minho. "Yo think ya so strong cuz ya tall? Well, I got your cuh" he laughed. The two friends did not understand a thing they were saying. Maybe they're not from Seoul? Of course they're not, it's not the correct dialect. "Okay so? The fuck is your problem? Give us the damn dog," Lucas hissed and faced all the guys looking at their leader walking in with a dribbling ball, the guys dropping to their knees and bowing.

"What's with the attitude, youngster? We didn't do anything to you."

A vein popped on Lucas' forehead, he tried so hard to go in for a punch but instead got stopped by Minho. "Just give us the dog for fucks sake..", Minho sighed. "You think we're just gonna let you go that easily? Ya must be fuckin' nuts.. 2 v 1 on basketball, let's go," he led us to a basketball court but that wasn't what caught them off.

2 v 1? What the literal fuck is that? They're the ones that are nuts. Oh man, doesn't he know? Lucas and Minho are the best high school basketball players in our entire city. No one stands a chance against them. If they find out those are underclassmen, this fishies and sophomores are fucked.

Roo whined and spun in circles, signaling to go home. Lucas and Minho didn't know what that meant so they threw her a dog treat. The gang looked so relaxed as if they knew it was their victory.

"I'll beat you this time, fuckers. Just wait till you see how much I've improved just because I was a failure against your filthy ass school," the young man licked his lip and smirked.

"You've competed against us before? Looks like you've lost for a reason. You're fucking arrogant," Lucas laughed and dribbled the ball in a figure 8 movement. Minho tied Roo's leash onto the fence, having her take a seat on the cold concrete ground of the court.

The game has started with the young gangster landing all of his shots, he was probably right about being better than them because of all his training that came after his fast failure. Lucas' heart beat every time his shoe hit the floor. He already lost boxing, he can't lose basketball now. Especially with his rival school.

Minho and Lucas: 5 points.

Weird gangster dude: 7 points.

He won by 2 points. Maybe Lucas and Minho were distracted.

"Looks like we can keep the dog," he grinned and picked up Roo after untying the leash. Minho stood there shocked. Jonghyun's baby was being taken away and Lucas knew what to do without mentioning the scary boxer's name.

"Give is the fucking dog back, it's not ours," Lucas snapped, standing close to the gangster. "Oh how scary~ Look I don't give a fuck if it's yours or not, you lost and now I get to keep the dog."

Lucas walked away and took Minho with him, seeing Roo's sad eyes made him sad. It made him have the need of going to save her. He would be her Prince Charming and he had a plan to save her. Yes, this is coming from a dog's perspective.

The two guys sat down in a bench, but Lucas had enough. "You know what, Minho? I'm fucking done with this and I'll be saving Roo now!", he stood up and stepped one mile closer to the poor pup.

The gangsters were admiring the dog's features. She was just so... cute! The leader was happy for his accomplishment which was about to be crushed. There was so many Lucas' around that no one really knew who the boxer was.

Lucas tried his best to find them and spotted the group right away, dashing towards them.

Roo's prince is here!

He started swinging and beating the shit out of them as he saw one more guy left running towards him. The poor kid stared at Lucas, he seemed younger than these teens. "L-Leader.. That's boxing champion Lucas."

'What?'

Lucas stepped on his back harshly, hearing a pop and looked at the young kid. "Find yourself better friends."

Lucas waited outside of Minho's house, finally getting in. "I got the dog.."

Minho cheered and congratulated him, hearing a car outside pulling up. The both males looked outside of the window and saw Jonghyun coming out of a fancy car. The boxer came in and hugged Roo. "How did she act?"

"She was good.. strangely good."
