It been two weeks, trying to get her house in order. Alex haven't been in work nor been answering phone calls from anybody. Avoiding Darnel not trying to be rude or anything she just needed some space. She thinks to herself and decided that being distant for a little bit would be fine, besides she fought a pregnant women. Having a good reason behind it, she still felt bad and not knowing if the baby is Darnel's or not just made her more curious but also more serious about not wanting to get on that level with him.
*DOORBELL*
Looking out the window, she notice it was her mothers car. Going to the door she unlocks it and welcomes her mother in. " Hey ma" Alex says " Hey baby" . Stepping in Alex mom is in shock to see Alex house such a mess, " What the hell happen to your place?" Alex mom says.. Looking at her Alex rolls her eyes and say " it's a long story". Not wanting to tell her mother what happen 2 weeks ago was annoying to Alex, simply because every time she think about it she get upset. " Did you do this? I mean it look like somebody ran through yo shit" Knowing her mother is not going to stop talking about it, Alex changed the subject and asked about her flight, forgetting she was coming into town made her update her reminders on her phone. " My flight was great, I really missed you baby, I miss Chicago .. how you heard from your sister?" My mother moved to Houston with my dad, them two had the opportunity to work at this local pharmacy and to take over the business. They loved working out there so they decided to stay, and one day build their own house. " Yes, I actually heard from her the other day and I miss you more.. and that's great.. I'm glad you here" Alex says. While talking alex knows that her mother can see right through her, she know that she is going to bring this conversation back up about her house, so in due time, she tries to keep off the subject. Alex mom is 43 but she think she 21.

" So how long are you in town?" Alex says while walking to the kitchen to get some water, Kinda happy about her being here.. she just wish her house was more decent than what it is. " Oh, I'm here for a week, I gotta go back to take care of that husbands of mines, your dad can't manage a day without me, just imagine a week" she said while laughing. "*laughing* I miss dad.. I wish he could've came too" "yeah I know, but he had to work but we gone come back gone her on his vacation". *RING RING* Looking at her phone she sees that Darnel is calling her, not answering she puts the phone down and continued to drink her water.. *RING RING*
Calling again, she puts him on Dnd. " Girl why you not answering the phone? Whoever it is it must be important" her moms says.. looking at her Alex replied and tell Linda that it's " nobody special" *DOOR BELL*
As Alex goes into the back room to change her clothes, She yells out to the living room to her mom to open the door, As Linda is opening the door she had a strange look on her face and asked " Who are you?" to a young man standing right in front of her. Coming from the back, wrapping her hair Alex says " Who was at the door?" Looking up she see that it's Darnel and roll her eyes.
Alex - Why are you here Darnel Darnel - Why you not answering my calls? Alex - We DONT have anything to talk about. Darnel - Yes we do.. * walking in* we have a lot to talk about. As alex is rolling her eyes, she spotted her mother burning a hole into her face she introduced them two. Alex - Mom this is Darnel, Darnel this is my mom.. Linda Darnel - It's nice to meet you ma'am, I'm sorry I came all hostile. Linda - It's fine, you are very handsome.. are you dating my daughter? Alex - Mom.. no we are not dating. Darnel - Yet, she just upset at the moment.. Linda - Upset? Upset about what ? Alex - Nothing, Darnel can you please go? I have stuff to do.. Linda - Like what? With a long stare, Alex look at her mother and just beg for her to be quiet.. Darnel - Yeah, like what ? Alex - Look, I have things I need to do.. it don't concern you, so it shouldn't matter to you.. Darnel - Excuse me, but can I borrow your daughter for a min ? Linda - be my guest Darnel - thank you, * grabs Alex to the back room* Alex - Let me go, don't put your damn hands on me Darnel - Yo what the fuck is yo problem? Not answering my phone calls and shit? You good? Alex - Is YOU GOOD? Whyyy you steady calling if you see I'm answering? Don't you gotta baby to attend to? Darnel - Girl stfu, Alex you gmfu.. when I call you answer don't play with me Alex - boy once again.. Fuck you.
Pulling Alex close to him, he kisses her with full force, not breaking the kiss he pushes her into the door and make the kiss even more intense. Breaking the kiss Alex pushes him and tell him to get out.. Looking at her he smiles.. " you know you miss me, I don't even know why you tryna front" Getting herself together she look back at him and said " make sure grab some pampers while you out". Laughing at her he pulls her closer again, " man chill, why you being like that?, I told you that baby not mines.. you gotta chill.. you had a nigga in his feelings, why you haven't bend answering my calls Alexandra, stop being mean to me" he says in a kiddy voice" Trying to break away from his arms, she finally gave up and said she " I haven't been answering nobody calls, I don't wanna talk" Mocking her " I don't wanna talk, he pulls out 10K and puts it in her hand.. " Here, this should cover everything that London ass fucked up" Looking at the money, Alex knew she couldn't accept it, she just wanted to know where the fuck he get this money from.. " I can't accept this Darnel.. where you even get this from!" Looking at her, he shakes his head, " you ask to many questions and you can take it.. I'm paying for all the damages" Shaking her head she know that saying no to Darnel is like saying no to a dog that's not gonna listen so she kindly takes the money and thanks Darnel. " I promise to pay you back, thank you so much" While smiling at her, he tell her " you don't gotta thank me man, I gotchu" looking at him she just smiles.. " I see where you get yo looks from, yo momma fine asl" Darnel say while getting up.. Putting the money on the bed, Alex reaches over and pushes Darnel in the arm..
