Sienna's POV

I had taken an interest in the boys ever since they had come into our lives, and because of this I always had my ear in the grapevine. And recently it has come to my attention that several kids in the nearby towns were infected by something strange. People said that doctors were baffled as to why so many people had such a bad strain of whatever it was and why no medications were helping the inflicted. But this only worried me because the boys had recently been showing symptoms. I had insisted that the two of them stay in bed and had pushed Heather and Ivanna to run every test they could think of. I would not lose these boys to some disease when we lived with two doctors.

GoogleDevan's POV

I watched Sienna run around like a headless chicken. I knew she was worried about Mark and Jack, but in all honesty, they just had a cold. It was completely normal for Humans, but Sienna insisted on playing a huge game of telephone with the entire town, driving herself crazy. Well, crazy-er. She already thought she was rodent royalty.

Despite my knowing what was wrong, I watched her spread fear to all the other Egos because nothing ever happens in this huge house and I knew the boys were fine anyway. Now, for a little chaos...

Rachel's POV

After hearing the news from Sienna, I needed to check on the two boys. I sluggishly made my way towards the kid's room. What I heard made my dead heart break even more. I heard the sounds of coughing and sniffling from inside the room. Maybe I can try and help them! Turning away from the room I made my way through the house, grabbing all the fluffy and warm blankets and pillows. That will help them, it helped me when I feel bad. Once I collected an armload, I staggered a bit to the boy's room. As I headed into their room I couldn't help but feel worried. The two boys were stuck in their beds sniffling and coughing. I went to get to work, sitting the blankets down and started to cover the two kids with them. Hopefully, this will help them feel better. I don't like seeing them in this state. I noticed Jack rubbing his nose with the sleeve of his pj set. Do they need tissues? Well, I can help. I tried to finish up tucking them into bed with these warmer blankets, making them as comfortable as I can. Once I finished I went out of the room on a quest; a quest to get Jack and Mark some tissues. I tried to focus on that task and not get sidetracked. Though once I spotted Heaven I got a bit sidetracked.

"Heaven.... Heard?" I tried to ask her with my limited speech. I wanted to know if she knew of the boys' predicament. Unfortunately, it seemed that wasn't the case.

"Heaven asks of what you were implying, Rachel," Heaven inquired as she looked in my direction.

"Boys... in bed... really sick..." I said as best as I could. Thankfully that seemed to get my point across to her. I went to fumble with my striped sleeve a bit.

"Heaven asks Rachel where the two boys are at the moment," Heaven asked me.

"Bed... room," I answered her before watching her walk off into that direction. I didn't think much of it as I headed off in search of the tissue boxes.

Heaven's POV

I made my way to the boys' bedroom, growing increasingly worried about them. What if they had pneumonia? Or the flu? Or food poisoning? Or bronchitis? Or lung cancer? Or- No, you need to stop, Heaven. You're only making yourself more paranoid.

I made it to the boys' room, and they were huddled under mountains of blankets. Jack was sneezing up a storm and Mark was in the middle of a coughing fit.

"Heaven wonders how Mark and Jack are feeling?" I asked, my voice gentle

"I don't feel so good, Heaven. I'm so hot and so cold, I keep sneezing and I keep coughing," Jack answered, tears in his eyes.
