Mark's POV
For the life of me, I couldn't find my math class. Highschool was harder to navigate than I thought it would be and it was even worse since Jack had his own class to try and find. I groaned, walking down the hallways for the third time today, trying to find my classroom. After what seemed like an eternity, the universe blessed me with my classroom. Class after class went by, and in between each class, I had a hard time finding my way to the next class. After a brief meetup with Jack at lunch, which had been a stroke of luck since we had no classes together, and two classes later, it was finally time to go home. So we could sort of recharge and do it all over again tomorrow. Oh joy.
Jack's POV
Today has already started off badly. My first class of the day seemed to be English, yet I was already struggling to find the correct room number for the class. I walked past some other students as I carried on my way. At least I was getting closer to the room number, room 203, room 204 and finally room 205. Room 205 was my freshman English class, though as I walked in I got a bit nervous. I looked around and saw that Mark wasn't in my class, well today seemed to just get worse. I inched out of the doorway and headed off to an empty desk near the front. Hopefully, my next class Mark and I will have together.
Once lunchtime rolled around I was ecstatic to finally meet up with Mark yet again. As we sat at the table I spoke up.
"You don't know how hard English was, the teacher spent forever going over the Syllabus for her class. I mean it is a new class but why do we need to hear her drone on and on about it," I said a bit exhausted from that class alone not to count the others before lunch.
"You think that's bad? At least you didn't have to sit through your teacher going on a rant about how we will need algebra in our adult lives," Mark pointed out to me. I would be annoyed at that, we may be teenagers but everyone knew that only algebra teachers are the only ones that use it on a daily basis.
"Can't really beat that, but I think that we can both agree that our classes are exhausting and suck," I offered the Mark getting a small chuckle from Mark."I can't agree more, Jack," Mark replied simply as he gave a smile for which I returned.
GoogleDevan's POV
"Do you boys have any homework?" I asked as Mark and Jack let their backpacks fall to the floor in front of the kitchen table.
"It's day one, GD. No, we don't have any homework. We never have any homework on the first day," Mark groaned, slamming his head on the table, Jack following suit.
"Bad day, boys?" I asked, taking a seat at the table.
"The worst. We have no classes together and neither of us could find any of our classrooms easily," Jack said, not bothering to pick his head up off the table to speak.
"Do you boys really not have any homework?" I asked, just to be sure.
"I mean, I have some biology homework, but that's not due for three days," Mark answered picking his head up.
"Same," Jack replied, putting his hand up and seemingly using all his strength to do it.
"Well, you boys do that and then you can go off with Marcy. She's been nagging to play videogames with you for a couple hours now."
"We have to do that now?" Jack whined.
"If you don't, you'll forget about it and it'll never get done. Now chop chop you two. I want to see books open and pencils moving," I ordered. For the next half hour, I helped the boys with their biology homework, discovering that while they had the same classes, their schedules were in different orders, meaning that the boys were alone all day. Maybe this way they'll make some other friends.
Marcy's POV
At least with the boys doing their homework, it did give me some time to set up Mario Kart. I gave a satisfied grin as I successfully set up the video game. As I stood up fully, I heard footsteps from the kitchen. Thankfully, it was just the two boys.
"GD finally let you two leave the kitchen table," I spoke with a smile on my face.
"Had to get our Biology homework done," Mark stated as he glanced at the game that was set up, "Were you going to play a game?" Mark continued.
"No, I thought that we all can play a game of Mario Kart," I corrected as I grabbed the two other controllers and held them to my nephews. Once they took the controllers I grabbed mine from the coffee table. "I thought we can have family time, video games are a perfect activity," I pointed out as I took my seat on the couch to get the game started once the two boys sat down. I was a bit happy to spend some time with my nephews. I started the game and to simply say, I made a bit of an error in choosing the game. The racing wasn't hard yet it was a close call on some of the races and the others were a bit of chaos with the computer players winning first. Though all around it was a relatively fun family game time, even if it did lack the others in on the time. Maybe I can see who else is available currently. Seeing as this is a family game time. Maybe that will be a good idea.
"Boys, I'll be right back. You two continue playing Mario Kart." I spoke as I set the controller to the coffee table and went to stand. I headed out of the living room and out to where I could find a particular doctor that may have some free time on her hands at the moment. Once I reached the two's lab, I simply opened the door and walked in. I mean it looked like the two weren't doing anything anyway. I did look at Heather seeing as she was rather confused at my sudden appearance. I simply gave a shrug before speaking.
" Going to borrow Ivanna for a bit" I spoke before turning and grabbing ahold of Ivanna's arm and pulling her along out of the room. Leaving a rather confused and slightly concerned Heather in the Lab. I did find it a bit funny at how shocked she was let alone the confusion that raked over Ivanna's face as I carried on to drag her to the living room.
"Needed another person for the boys and I's family game time. " I spoke as we entered the living room from the hallway.
Ivanna's POV
"Needed another person for the family game time," Marcy told me as we entered the living room.
"Hey, Ivanna," Mark said, his eyes glued to the T.V.
"Hi, Ivanna," Jack said, glancing at me at the sound of Mark's greeting.
"Hello boys," I said, still confused as to why Marcy decided to just drag me out of the lab. Granted, Heather and I weren't really doing anything, but it was still strange that Marcy would just drag me with barely any explanation.
"Mind joining us?" Marcy asked, handing me a controller.
"Sure..." I said, cautiously accepting the controller. We played for hours, each of us winning a few rounds before I heard angry stomping coming toward the living room. Heather Von Schneeplestein was coming. And she was pissed.
Heather's POV
I couldn't believe her, how could Marcy just up and take Ivanna from the lab without saying anything? On top of the fact that they have been gone for a bit of time. I gave an angered huff while I left the lab and headed down the hallway. I muttered a variety of cusses and swear in German as I looked around for Marcy and Ivanna, pissed that I couldn't find them. When I finally went to the living room after countless minutes looking, I couldn't help the volume of my voice raised to a yell. Marcy took Ivanna out of the lab to play video games? Really? My yelling did cease I heard one of my nephews speak.
"Heather, you're just in time for the next race. Want to play?" Jack asked with a motion to the game that they were playing. I took in a breath and calmed a slight bit down as he walked over. I took a seat on one of the armchairs and grabbed a controller for the game. Even if Marcy took Ivanna without telling me why I couldn't be angry towards the two boys. So maybe one game won't hurt me to play.
