Hidden Tatsu (Naruto Various x Reader)

Prologue

This wasn't how I expected my birthday to be...

I never asked to see my family or my friends' burnt bodies lying across the village. Don't really think any kid would want to see this on their birthday.

I never asked for any of this.

My feet feel as if they weren't there anymore. I can't walk...

I fall to my knees, reaching over to touch my father's burnt hand.

The heat is still there.

How could this happen?

Father sent me out to the Hidden Stone Village to get herbs for medicine and I come back to this...

He had to have known this would happen.

I heard the conversation between him and Orochimaru. He didn't give him the scroll and he knew the consequences.

Our clan was strong, but our resources have been low for awhile... Of course we wouldn't win against one of the legendary sanin.

I have to find a note or something.

I see a slight glow from my father's robe and go to check it.

A sealed note.

I open up the note and read it softly aloud.

"Dear (Y/N),

I love you so much, daughter. I'm sorry I had to leave you like this, but there is no beating Orochimaru. I hope you can forgive me for sending you out like that. If you knew he was coming, I know you would've tried to stay and fight but I couldn't let that happen. I already saw your mother die, I wouldn't want to see you die too...

Orochimaru will never find the scroll. I hid it in your hiding spot and it's protected. Keep it with you at all times and make sure nothing happens to it. I won't have enough time to finish this letter, I'm sure he's on his way. Take care of yourself and know that we will always be with you.
