Chapter Nineteen: Ill Intentions

"Don't worry, I got him."

I pick up Jiraiya's limp body from the owner of the shop.

"One of the Legendary Sannin, huh?" I mumble.

Jiraiya fully wakes up, coughing a bit. His breaths become heavy as he begins to sweat profusely.

"That little witch... When I get my hands on her-"

"You won't do anything to her because you're unable to. Right now, we need to go back to Shizune and Naruto," I tell him.

We get on the roof of the hotel just as Shizune peeps her head out. Jiraiya throws a kunai knife, nearly hitting her head. I let Jiraiya go, feeling the presence of someone else watching. They all huddle up in a corner and I give a look to Jiraiya, signaling I'm going to check out what it is. When I reach the area, I don't spot anyone. That's until I get pushed up against the wall.

"You really must like seeing me in this position."

Kabuto smirk, bringing his hand to my face and slightly running it across my cheek.

"I gotta admit, I didn't expect all of you to be here. You're a pleasant surprise though," he flirts.

"Don't you have a lunatic to go back to?"

He thinks about it for a second then sighs, bringing his lips onto my cheek.

"You're right. We can...catch up later. Don't miss me too much."

"That won't be a problem..."

I wipe my cheek as he leaves and go back to the three of them. We all hurry up to find Tsunade to stop her and Orochimaru.

We went to the spot where we assumed she was going to be but she wasn't there so we tracked her down using her jacket and Tonton sniffing her out. We made it just in time to stop Kabuto from attacking her. There's a silence before Orochimaru speaks up.

"It's been been a long time, old friend."

"Long time indeed. And I can't say it's improved your looks any, old friend."

Naruto looks over and finally notices Kabuto.

"Hey! Kabuto."

"Naruto. (Y/N)..."

They all turn their attention to Kabuto. I shiver at the memory of what happened earlier.

"You guys met this guy before?" Jiraiya asks us.

"Well, of course we have. We took the Chunin exams together. What are you doing here, Kabuto?" Naruto answers.

Before he could say anything, Tsunade pushes Jiraiya out of the way and runs after Kabuto. I catch Jiraiya from falling along with Tonton. Holy crap, Tsunade's strong to push this guy down. They continue their fight, it ending with Kabuto stabbing his hand and dropping his blood over Tsunade.

"Your jutsu's worn off. Now I am at 100 percent. I knew that I'd never be able to take on two of the legendary Sannin at the same time. But now I at least got one down!" Kabuto punches Tsunade back into Shizune's arms.

"I don't get it. What's going on? I'm confused. Did I miss out on something? How come Kabuto and Grandma Tsunade are mixing it up?" Naruto questions.

"I see you're as slow as ever, Naruto. No wonder you're no match for Sasuke."

I glare at him and cross my arms.

"He's Orochimaru's little guard dog, Naruto. A spy from the Village Hidden in the Sound. He only helped us in the Chunin exams to get information about us."
