The days before the dance crawled by slower than a snail. Time had never been slower. Finally, finally! It was the afternoon on the day of the dance. Sophie, Biana, and Linh were in my room helping each other. Well, mostly Biana was helping the others. Biana had selected a ice blue dress with a poofy skirt for me.
I'd wanted to get a simpler dress, but Biana has insisted. The color matched Keefe's eyes.
Sophie was wearing a red dress that complemented her brown eyes.
Biana had selected a light purple dress that she said would match Tam's tie (Biana was going to the dance with Tam).
Linh was already in her dress, a silver one.
Biana was currently applying makeup to Sophie's face. I watched as she outlined Sophie's eyes in black and swiped her eyelashes with mascara. She brushed sophie's eyelids with a brown shadow and dusted her cheeks with a light pink blush. She painted sophie's lips with a sheer red gloss and turned to me, as she was finished with Sophie.
"Please don't go too crazy!" I joked. "Oh I won't." Said Biana as she got to work. She only put a little bit of eyeliner, a little bit of eyeshadow, (I didn't see what color) some mascara, some blush, which she then wiped off. "You won't be needing it, you'll be around Keefe all night!" I blushed. "See! Even the mention of his name makes you blush!" she said. "Wow you're worse than Sophie!" Linh giggled.
Biana finished with my makeup by applying a pink tinted lip balm to my lips. Biana turned to Linh, but Linh shook her head. "I already have some mascara on." she said quietly. "But I don't even see it!" Biana cried. "That's the point." Linh said. Biana looked sad for a second, then brightened when she realized she got to do her own makeup, and she could do whatever she wanted to her own face.
After she was done, we went downstairs, where my parents took about a billion pictures of us. "Make sure to take lots of pictures!" My mom said. We went out the door, where a large car was waiting, In front of the car, was Keefe, Fitz, Dex, and Tam. Keefe look even more handsome than he had before. As always, his hair was messy, yet styled. He wore a white shirt, black pants, and an ice blue tie. It was the exact same color as his eyes, and my dress. I turned to Biana. "Did you know?" She nodded.
I turned back to Keefe, and we all got into the car. The driver introduced himself as Alden Vacker, Fitz and Biana's dad. "What ability does Alden have?" I transmitted to Sophie. "Telepath." Sophie transmitted back. We drove for about ten minutes to the place where the dance was at. We got out of the car, and walked into the dance.
A/N: I've been planning the next chapter for almost a month now! Sorry for the cliffhanger!
